I've managed to source all the recommended libraries. It took a while as a couple of them appear to have dropped off the radar! Charl, when the R22 appeared, I installed it, and with a primitive Logitech joystick, I managed to fly it in a square - or more correctly a rectangle, at about 30' AGL. Up, forward, right, backwards, left and down. That was quite enough for me. :cheers: Mike

HJG's DECEMBER/CHRISTMAS 2019 WEBSITE UPDATE These above presented textures .... and their supporting aircraft base packs (3D models and FDE) too .... are both FS2004 native and FSX portable. The supporting DC-8-50 panels and gauges/core files (2X versions of DC-8-50 panel are offered by HJG .... both non-INS and INS featured) are both FS2004 native and FSX portable .... The customized FS2004...

Once you get your head around it just being different, it's damn good. Not perfect, but good. It's so far ahead of P3D and FSX in lighting, flight dynamics and scenery structure. Where it's lacking is AI traffic, weather visuals and water; although the water can be hit and miss. There's some great addons out for it now.

Looks brilliant. AIG are a giant freeware contributor to the sims. If this tool indeed works in FS9 I may just reconstruct that huge world while waiting for MSFS2020

Yeah, doing a proper version of the Coromandel has always been near the top of my list, I actually started on this a few years ago when the Auckland heli rescue people wanted me to do some areas for their training -- they were planning on flying me around Auckland and the Coromandel etc, and lend me a car for the Coromandel airfields, but this never eventuated. In the meantime I'd done the mesh and photo scenery, for Prepar3d first, so it about half done:) So my dream is that one day I just do a road trip around the entire Peninsula. It's good to see this happening. Now, AFS2 seems to have quite a lot of X-Plane DNA in it, so is it OK if I keep badgering you about developing for AFS2 as well? :D MikeW
