Once you get your head around it just being different, it's damn good. Not perfect, but good. It's so far ahead of P3D and FSX in lighting, flight dynamics and scenery structure. Where it's lacking is AI traffic, weather visuals and water; although the water can be hit and miss. There's some great addons out for it now.

Looks brilliant. AIG are a giant freeware contributor to the sims. If this tool indeed works in FS9 I may just reconstruct that huge world while waiting for MSFS2020

Yeah, doing a proper version of the Coromandel has always been near the top of my list, I actually started on this a few years ago when the Auckland heli rescue people wanted me to do some areas for their training -- they were planning on flying me around Auckland and the Coromandel etc, and lend me a car for the Coromandel airfields, but this never eventuated. In the meantime I'd done the mesh and photo scenery, for Prepar3d first, so it about half done:) So my dream is that one day I just do a road trip around the entire Peninsula. I can remember back I the good old days, this wouldn't have...

It's good to see this happening. Now, AFS2 seems to have quite a lot of X-Plane DNA in it, so is it OK if I keep badgering you about developing for AFS2 as well? :D MikeW

Just placed the order. NZ$35. Half the cost is postage. Really easy transaction if you have paypal. Norman 3D prints these and at no profit. He just wants to help out the Flt sim community. If anybody wants a set let me know.

ND shut down for some time. They've been active on other non legacy products that the helicopter community is only just becoming aware of now.
