QUOTE (Charl @ Sep 29 2010, 09:16 AM) OK I can't tell the difference between any of these Fokkers anyway. But a Friendship is one I would relate to, as well. Anything holding you back, then? Come on Charl,............ your keen eye could tell the difference between an F27 and an F50 easily,....... visually, externally, quite a lot of difference, to say nothing of the differences in the cockpit.......... I mean really,........... those beautiful Rolls Royce Darts on an F27 dont look anything like whats hanging offan F50, to say nothing of that fabulous, unique and unforgettable...

Don't get me wrong. I dont want to "bag" the 208 too much. And by the time the second or third patch is released, we will have a very nice piece of equipment here !!! I just wonder why Carenado with this one, AND their previous releases, never seem to carry out really good beta testing. /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Cheers /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> TonyM

Really looking forward to the Dash-8! Hopefully it is either the Q100 or Q300 model. Preferably the 100... This and VLC are my top "must buys" right now.

Blake , ' Waka172 ' retired from airline flying current and brought his new and young family home to NZ . The move would be the upset or even to set up a good line , you never no when he might simply pop up /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Being an Aussie I'll just throw my two cents in, Before VOZ, flightsim scenery for Australia was almost non existent apart from a few single handed scenery makers, and freeware for N.Z. well forget it. When FSX was released the same problem occured and to fly downunder was discusting. The company over the ditch has done a magnificent job with scenery for Australia and before even thinking about N.Z they ran a poll with overwhelming results, and also from a lot of Kiwis. Apart from Robin's work there hasn't been much joy for N.Z flightsimmers, so I can't see why you people...

QUOTE (Snowman @ Aug 9 2010, 02:57 PM) A very wonderful RR Dart Collection for NZ,...... But not the complete RR Dart Collection for FSX. Mike Stone's Fokker F27-200 Friendship, and Rick Piper's Vickers Viscount 800 will also work in FSX. There are FSX updates available for both aircraft, and all the FS9 NZ repaints work fine in FSX. Couple these aircraft with various fabulous RR Dart Soundsets by Fraser McKay. Well done Doug, a valuable collection for FSX !! I'll be taking advantage of the CD offer. QUOTE (Snowman @ Aug 5 2010, 04:41 PM) At a res of 1280 x 1024 on my 19" monitor, the banner fills the entire space across the top of the page above the navigation bar. Using Win XP SP-3 and IE8 with all current updates, i have no problems with anything. Lawrie. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif /> LOL - its all sorted now...no sign of the extraneous "screen turd" to the right of the banner in my last screenshot...menu titles are sorted now too...
