I have a 150gb Velociraptor and I didn't really notice a major difference in FSX over my standard 7200rpm. But load times were slightly better and my FPS were about 15% better /mellow.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= mellow.gif />

QUOTE (Wildbillkelso @ Dec 30 2010, 06:53 AM) You've bought the model before "April 17th, 2010 1200 GMT" or by a reseller? I got mine from SimMarket (they often do deals). Update duly grabbed (thank you!!) ... will report back here! Hmmmm. Problem persists /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif />. I applied all the patches (to all my Carenado C185's). Does anyone here have the FSX C185 Bush/Ski? What are the file details of c185_skis.MDL? Mine are: 02 Apr 2010 09:23:34 8,426Kb Pity - I could have re-bought it when the...

Thanks for that heads up...I got the FS9 Kamov Ka-26 Hoodlum for NZ$11.55 instead of $30 which really makes a lot of sense. Ultimately, three times as many toys in the toybox, even if you weren't really planning it that way... Ian wasn't there a CH-53 for FS9?

QUOTE (Charl @ Dec 10 2010, 08:51 AM) Although I still haven't found x and y translation available. Hmm, thats odd, because i can move my perspective in all three axis. What version are you using? If you arent using the Beta version, use that one. And are you loading the SimConnect setup? That gives me 6DOF

Yep its all i use for flight planning now as well. Its a petty its not like G earth where you can turn on the elevation and look around in a 1st person perspective. It always helps to know what terrain your flying over esecialy if your going in under the radar. Perhaps they should develop it as a pluggin to google earth rather than the other way around. You can also have the map running on a networked machine. My ipod comes to mind. I wonder...

Choccie Fish to you then for following up on that! Another when we are flying with the VC - I still have faith. With permission, I am going to quote you on this. Note to FS suppliers: Beware, Wing Commander Warren has a broken computing installation and is on the prowl. Y'all had better be set to put your best forward until he has his toys back...
