Yep not much to see there and quite hard to find from the air in real life....but a nice little strip none-the-less /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> When I took photos for my FSX rendition, about the only life I encountered there were the flies buzzing around the cow pats /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

This is probably my all-time favorite real-world aircraft. Not sure why. I had a few flights on them from Brisbane to Canberra. For some reason they also made me feel airsick often (never got the whole way though to chucking up!). But this virtual model looks incredible. It should be very nice to fly and be very functional. The Quality Wings 757 is a very nice aircrtaft and certainly doesnt get the attention it deserves.

QUOTE (kcgb @ Feb 7 2011, 08:24 AM) I have the same result as you but the frames stop when I fire a weapon for the first time and the effects kill the frames rate. Hmmm ... not good. They should have released this FREE ... as an *alpha* (it's not even *beta* quality) then they could have used the feedback they got to further develop the product. Charging money for this crock is really going to harm Captain Sim's reputation. I'm not normally this dismissive/unsupportive of a product, but I've just spent nearly a week playing with a *very* well developed product...

Old trick but works , build different lengths of a simple polygon , extrude it , texture , give you the top middle lower beam after that a few uprights and away you go /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (Charl @ Feb 5 2011, 09:30 AM) I've been less than happy with the various FRAPS "Updates" in the last year or so, and was contemplating abandoning it for the Recorder Module Renderer. I use it in FS9, and possibly the development focus was elsewhere. Now V3.2.8 is out, and really behaves itself. Very few induced stutters, no dropped frames that I could see, be interesting to hear if this works well in other games software too. This one I will keep in a special box... I've had a bit of a love-hate relationship with FRAPS. I still have a mega issue with it using...

Its not going to be catastrophic - a 3d model is still a 3d model, a texture is still a texture - it will just mean it may need exporting to a slightly different format. Its happened before - it just took a little time to get the converters out there to do it. To be honest FSX has been the longest version I've ever stayed designing for, so change is nothing new.

Have a look at MS Virtual Earth. Noticed that the the photos there are a bit clearer than Google. But that is only on the strip I'm currently working on.

Sorry Markus, but final release will be in next day or so. I was going to release in two parts, but because the modifications to make the dual control model didn't take long, I've decided to roll them together.

QUOTE (morrisman1 @ Jan 17 2011, 09:22 AM) Is NZRX compatible with FSX too? Not at this stage. I'm not familiar with converting FS9 scenery to FSX. Goff
