Hey Mate, that adaptor is for a DVI-VGA. Most older Monitors are VGA, but a Graphics card only has one VGA slot. So if you wish to have 2 monitors without THTG, get another cord, and plug it into the DVI slot, using the adaptor.

Thermaltake PSUs are not absolutely horrible, infact the higher end ones are very good, but there lower end ones leave a lot to be desired. However, they still make fairly decent psus. Hi Benwynn, You missunderstood me, I have all (i think all) AI traffic which can be used for New Zealand. I have only three "normal" aircraft with ZK*** tailnumber. But you're right about using ICAO code. it just would be nice to see a clear list with just -let's say- 10 "Best of" airports Thanks for your reply anyway

Thanks heaps, you have got it I think. I checked and yes it was set to metres. I just tried the lesson and it seems to work well, I was at the correct heights, and when I wasn't I got told-off it all made sense this time! Thank you all very much for your input, it looks like this case is solved. :D QUOTE (toprob @ Apr 9 2008, 05:07 PM) Are you sure you haven't set your display to metres?

how long is the log file? You could just copy and past it, or if its really really big, just take some screenshots, and upload to photobucket and then here. Alternatively, upload the log file to an online file sharing site. Either way, we need to see whats in the file

You could always try the built-in 'Windows Scheduler'. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools. I don't know how effective it will be, but may be useful to you. :wink2: Alex

:o OMG It was so simple to fix in the end- all I did was reset my default flight (which had somehow become corrupt) and everything is sweet. I'm so glad there was a simple fix in the end! And thanks for the link Alex, I shall save it for future reference also.

Think you may have nailed it - I was looking at new soundcards for this but of course they wouldn't have a gameport. Now to figure out if my old Soundblaster can run on my "modern" computer, there was a driver issue at least...

QUOTE (Charl @ Mar 21 2008, 03:17 PM) I believe in serendipity, there is another discussion about gameports. What do you have which provides said gameport? HI Charl As per my thread, CH Virtual Pilot Pro. It won't work with a Gameport to USB adaptor, although my Logitech Wheel and Pedals do

QUOTE (NZ255 @ Mar 24 2008, 08:43 AM) Have you got a new add on since you first noticed it? That could slow it down depending on how big it is. Where does it happen? When on Flightsim press shift + z (i think) twice it should be so it displays your frame rates, when it starts to "lag" do your frame rates drop? Thanks for those tips. I will check out your suggestions.
