Does the system allow you to delete it (is it locked)? - Or is it simply re-created at startup? There's a little utility called "Unlocker" that could help out in the first instance. Let me know if Googling for it is unsuccessful - it's not a huge file, so I can attach it for you if needs be.

i have to agree with everyone else on the sli thing. For fs you wont see any benefit from dual cards. Change the video card to something a little beefier and youve got a killer system.

QUOTE (Timmo @ Jul 16 2008, 11:38 AM) I dont believe it is possible to install FSX twice since it requires online validation- This can only be done for one installation. Yes it works .. I test some d/loads on this PC system before placing them on my Flightsim PC system. Standard modern/router setup . Edit .. I have even run multi-player many time running aircraft here and test flying Naval types .. get a lot off screenshots that way .

QUOTE (Chairman @ Jul 8 2008, 12:49 AM) Phew, you had me worried there for a minute ! had you worried?? I was looking at having to copypasta a whole heap of settings!! QUOTE Of course the real fun will start when you want to change something in the setup ...... /wink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :wink2: border= 0 alt= wink.gif /> Not really... I noticed that when I loaded up another paint and went into FSUIPC and ticked the 'aircraft specific' box, it was still identifying as 'Boeing 737-800', regardless of which paint it was using. So it would...

Haha, great, those old Sidewinders are as tough as nails - I've got one in the cupboard that's at least 10 years old and still works perfectly (even after I'd thrashed it on FS98 /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />). Alex

QUOTE (spongebob206 @ Jul 6 2008, 01:00 PM) All I can suggest is to purchase real Wellington. Awesome software. Or there is the early free-ware Wellington , and Robin even added to the area with a large but lower quality photo real of the region , fully autogened ! /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> EDIT Sorry ! forgot .. thats FS9 ... by REALNZwellington

Hmm, ok. I'm almost decided on what I want, thinking about the X52 pro, The price is a bit steep, but cheaper than getting a yoke & throttle system then having to get the pedals. Has anyone used or have the X52 pro and could give a quick review on it? The regular X52 was on display at harvynormans a while ago, I tried it to get a feel for it, but there was no resistance in the stick. Says the X52 pro has more resistance, which is about the only thing I want to know if it's true.

Radical surgery...I've also been advised that SP3 is highly suspect on certain installations. I've had the odd BSOD lately, thankfully seem to have passed with the latest Windows Update. (Although, come to think of it, didn't MS say XP support was going to stop in March??)

Yep, absolutely safe. It's a requirement to install many programs /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> No problems installed on mine - I thought it was included in Windows Update anyway, but maybe not...
