QUOTE (zk2704 @ Nov 23 2014,9:44 AM) Ok then. Well, as I am planning to get the PMDG 777 and the 737 NGX, Aerosoft Airbus Extended and GSX, I will see how it goes. To run those with any reasonable performance, I believe a new computer is going to be required, last thing you want to do is by these super packages, the software and find the laptop is simply not going to do the job , for example just the base pack for the Captain Simulation series 100/200 Boeing 737 is 630MB for example, I don't have the NGX/747 currently installed but not only are they large files but also requires...

QUOTE (scaber @ Nov 15 2014,11:52 AM) I have seen some people who do that and they seem to manage fine though it's not something I could trust myself to do as I make too many inadvertent errors - especially when I'm tired!! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Hehe yeah I've seen some real facepalms come from people doing that too.

There are even tools for swapping scenery automagically at startup. I use Simstarter It does not only allow scenery, but also Simulator settings management. Kind regards, Michael

QUOTE (stewartkingswood @ Nov 5 2014,3:52 AM) Hi All Well it has taken sometime to get most things up and running but I can report that the PC performs as well as I had hoped. I am running with frames set at 35 and it regularly runs around that mark. Even on fairly dense scenery. It also feels very stable. Flying over Christchurch with the X file and Orbx it runs high 20 to low 30 but again very stable. The sliders are all set on the high side so all in all I am happy. Not sure how to upload photos so will keep trying. Regards to all and thanks again for input Glad to hear you're...

QUOTE (jpreou @ Nov 3 2014,7:47 AM) Ian; only the Cess Pro pedals have been discontinued; I'm not aware of anything else. I thought the Cessna pedals were a little limiting off beat really once you put ya hoofers onto them and under the table you don't see them so seemed to me a little strange. Pleased you got a fix, one other recommend is sheet tin folded around the broken part, go to the local scrap metal man, rather screws go the nut and bolt.

One of the primary things with FS on an app or portable LP was the ability to AGN for example .. a simple task like that and with great foresight they never thought off annotating using a laptop and this again has only come up recent , I planning a brought a LP 4/5 years back now thinking be idea BUT .. the execution window and interface was not going to work .. so much for the beta testing .

Nothing stopping you... except you would have to be careful not to use WOAI packages that duplicate flights within UT2, otherwise you will create gridlock at busy airports.

QUOTE (zk2704 @ Oct 17 2014,1:36 PM) I seem to now have a lot of problems with my display drivers for months now, since the blurries on FSX issue. The issues were Several Blackouts on the screen, also on startup! Display Drivers not responding, it ends up with the screen flickering pixel screens, black screens and then back to my normal desktop page. Then something popped up saying "Display Driver has Not Responded and has recovered". Display specs Card: ATI (AMD) mobility radeon HD 3400 series OS: Windows Vista 32bit. Any solutions is appreciated Zain. Beware updated...

QUOTE (gojozoom @ Oct 7 2014,3:53 PM) My only real solution for the un-realistic rudder behavior was to bypass FSX's own control system and set it up in FSUIPC (registered version). You can even set up sensitivity curves there. Since then I haven't had any issues staying on that yellow line. Here is a useful tutorial: Well guys I have had success in restoring my progressive rudder & nose wheel control. It had been suggested I should maybe roll back my driver for the X52 Pro stick. I had a think about that, and realised I had not taken the time to update my X52Pro software...

With my switch to DX10 with 'Steve's Fixer', it's become an absolute must. 'Adam', an old friend of NZFF, is the DX10 guru on the Orbx forum and his setup has become my bible. How much of this is visible to the naked eye calls for much younger eyes than mine but nothing bad has happened and that's always a plus.

QUOTE (Intrance @ Sep 24 2014,10:17 PM) ended up reinstalling NZNI and poof, problem gone. So it's not necessarily a fix in SP1. One off the things proven the ORBX switch's don't always work necessarily.
