Just 1/2 sorted it out...........but I still need help. Have just gone back into Afcad and whilst playing about I scrolled further down the page and found them all !!!............But on the opening page it is all blank but in the a/c type box it lists all the a/c that belong with Sqwaukbox ? This make me wonder where the SB folder should be for these a/c to show up in the afcad aircraft section of aircraft editor ? Mmm Cheers Ian

well I installed and took of from wigram in the justflight tomahawk demo aircraft with the building storms weather theme. I get good fps if I just looking over towards the port hills with not many clouds in close sight, yet if I look over towards nzch (from as far away as nzwg) my frames split in half (thats about 8). Also if I fly near to clouds I get 4fps in all view points :( it may have improved something :) thanks anyway trolly.

I had this problem before, when I had an empty payload on my aircarft. Try going into your fuel/payload settings under the main aircraft menu, then adjusting the weight of your PAX.

I don't beleve that patch is necacery to run fs9???? No, but always good to have, could fix up the problem that Kelburn is having. That is of course, if Kelburn is using 9.0 at the moment... ;) Alex

Keep this one for winter - in SLI mode it eats 800W of power. Turn off the heaters first.

Hmmm... seems the instruments/gauges are all still there, it's just that flightsim can't seem to find them. To test the theory I reloaded a whole set of custom guages for a particular aircraft and it can't find them either. Looking more and more like a reinstall :(

AS far as virtual memory goes I use another drive, and put my virtual ram on that. This gives a performance lift as info can be read and written from one drive to another a lot faster than if it reads and writes to the same drive.I always close off all programs except screen grabber, but more memory gives better performance.I would have to say Jimmy that you had too many open programs and that was what was sucking up your resources.

seeing as its an ati card, ive tried the omega drivers and the new catalyst 6.9 ones from ati site. Both have the same problem. background programmes running? Temp monitoring software, ICQ messenger, ATI driver programmes. Never ever have anti virus running as it is a waste of precious RAM :P NFSMW is patched to the latest version and my RAM is 1024MB (4 times the minimum requirement) Im sure it has nothing to do with my overclocking because it has done this before once, before I OC it.

sorry for the slow reply :) the surface I am using it on would be a regular chopping board the same size as the laptop! crappy, I know but it does the job. I wonder if that cooling pad would work because it would be blowing air up through the laptop, whereas the fans in the computer are trying to force air downwards

Hi HCP and natas :) I too am very annoyed I didn't get the windows disc's, I asked when I was buying the pc and the guy said something about them being ex-lease computers so they don't have the cd's to give out. but I new my os was a fresh install cos thigs like wmp had to go threw the "i accept liscence" stuff and all things were new, you know what I mean lol. My computer usualy crashes at the windows welcome screen or at the desktop or even after half an hour of sitting at the desktop! sometimes when it loads windows itll have cpu usage at 100percent...
