Dont forget if you have Auckland 2005 scenery or Rob Diebolds rehash to use with RealNZ then it was designed for FS2000 and FS2002 originally.

Very nice card, I really must upgrade! There are a few other places selling these, check out then select the graphics tab then search on that screen. It is a very impressive looking card!! Have you noticed an improvement in FPS or did you increase your resolution and maintain a similar FPS?

Yeah if I play FSX for too long it shuts my computer down, I'm asuming it's a CPU overheat. I have cleaned the dust off and put new paste between the CPU and heat sink, I might need to put some more there.

Yes I think a little maintenance once in a while is a good thing. Every September I carry my computer out on the deck. Then I turn the garden vac onto high pressure blow, stand 10 paces back, and let fly. The box usually disappears in a brownish cloud for a bit, then come the cobwebs, and finally the spiders. After I put it all back together again, I am so relieved it works, that I imagine it runs faster. Hell those PC Company boxes were built tough, sad day when they went under. I just picked myself up nearly chocking to death laughing. My flatmates thought I had really lost it after reading...

my theories: a) your graphics card is not AGP 4x compatible, which is causing the same issues as Trolly had with his new card. return it and find one which is compatible B) your CPU is holding back the graphics card. not much you can do aside from saving your pennies sorry to see you suffer like this. technology has never been kind to anyone.

Its probably possible, easier if you get an amp (with power-amp would be awesome) and plug the speakers into that, then get a 3.5mm plug into RCA adaptor and plug that into the amp, and select the source. ;) Hope that made sense :P . Alex

Is there a way that I can force FS9 to load all flights with this vis without having to change every time I load a flight? There is another way. Set up a flight, with all the weather conditions, time/season that you prefer, save your flight (including your favourite aircraft and favourite airport), ticking Make this the default flight at the bottom of the window. Now, every time you load FS9, the main screen will automatically display your custom defined weather, favourite plane and favourite airport location and time/season ready for you to hit the FLY button (rather than having the default...
