QUOTE (toprob @ Jan 11 2011, 05:43 PM) It's still coming, not too sure when, I suspect it got a bit delayed over the holiday period. Yep unfortunately Cody from Jaggyroad has had some bad luck with hardware failure plus the holiday period and family commitments has seen the delivery date pushed back. The good news is he has quit his 'day job' to focus on film editing work so the video, hopefully, should be available soon. Im going to be in and out of contact for the next month or two as I'm overseas but I hope that when it is sent through I can distribute it fairly...

Apart from the autogen texture as mentioned, no it does not /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> It is by this way by design as a antithesis to some addons which do their best to mess with your FSX install which can have un-intended consequences /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

I reinstalled flight sim completely as per the 'clean install guide' on simviation and then reinstalled VLC over top. All seems to be working now, so I think the problem is sorted! I will update you if there is any issues again and will follow the steps in your last post. Not realyl sure what prompted me to fully reinstall but I had a gut feeling that it may fix the issue which it seemed to have done so. Cheers!

QUOTE (ZK-MAT @ Dec 22 2010, 09:31 PM) I get an error too, but only if I go to the Windowlight link above, then log in at the top, when I return to the Vector Landclass page, if I click where it says: "The patch is now available for earlier purchases. See here for details." QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Dec 21 2010, 12:18 PM) what is the attraction her for the tourists , tramping hunting and fishing ? It's *quiet* ... the natives are friendly ... great beaches, good tramping/fishing but I don't know about hunting. Sadly, it's become within reach of Auckland, so property prices have spiralled up, way beyond what the *locals* can afford. Ferry operators have tripled their costs for freight, so all the products in the local shops are now ludicrously expensive. I know a few long-time GB residents that have had to move back to the mainland. Seems to be the...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Dec 2 2010, 06:04 PM) Timmo! Many thanks for the NZWN mesh update. It sorted quite a few elevation problems around the airport for me ... great!! The archive I grabbed off the VLC site has just one .bgl file in it. No mention (or plug) of VLC, the VLC site - or even who to thank!!! So ... to whoever ... many thanks!!! /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> /clapping.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= clapping.gif /> Yeah it was a fairly quick and dirty...

Gidday Mike- Apologies for not being able to answer your query sooner- Things have been a bit hectic with work etc so I haven't been able to spend as much time with FS as I'd like. Hopefully Robins response answers your query /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (Chairman @ Oct 11 2010, 10:10 PM) Why not pinch some actual aerial photos taken in VFR flights (Trolly has hundreds of them on facebook) and in the video make the same flights in FSX and pause at the appropriate moment to compare VLC versus the real thing ? Ace has rather a few real shots on FB too /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

I have figured out the location of the fsx.cfg file (Tweak for autogen) However before tweaking I'm wondering if I should. I have a reasonably new/good system, which is running fsx satisfactorily so I'm not entirely sure if I should. With the sliders set at about 80 % I still get good performance allround. However when I really blast up all the slider's frame rate's drop, therefore I'm assuming after tweaking I should expect to see an increase in performance. Fair assumption ?

VLC isn't for FS9. Do I need any other mesh or topo? No, that's all included in VLC. Does the original Real NZ scenery, airports work with it? Yes. What airport scenery works with it? RealNZ, Godzone, freeware, photoreal, donationware, etc.

QUOTE I can Timmo, there was an old burger bar I used to go to at 2:00am in the morning after working at the Papanui Tavern (showing my age here) down Cranford St .... you have made no attempt to model this! I know Anderton made a bit of a twit of himself saying that it would take a quake to help incumbent mayor Bob Parker. But I guess I have to put my hand up as well, this would seem to be the building that they kept showing on telly and has since been totally demolished. Probably no need to model this now Timmo. /icon_redface.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :whoops: border= 0...

QUOTE (Timmo @ Sep 2 2010, 04:49 PM) Nope it doesn't seem to make any difference...it is more a preference of mine so that things sit logically in the scenery list (i.e in the sim, landclass sits 'on top of' the terrain' so I put it above the DTM and below any other addon scenery items). In my test install, because my addon scenery folder was at the top of my list, VLC is installed at the top too and it still seems to work ok, however, it should be as low as possible so that when people release smaller airports (that may include additional roads or landclass tiles...
