Great shot s again Gavin , to get a good photoreal , well least on Deane's Huey is very close ups so to show the detail , were the the camera lens fills at 1 meter .. step 1 meters click and so on .. frame by frame , the model 'Deane's' is restrictive in FS resolution otherwise .

See now thats an AIRBUS , it was they A310s that held a fuel per PAX Kg/Litre per km .. i dig up the details ... most would find it quite impressive , I recall the A300B4 prototype visiting Christchurch , doing a round the world demo , prity much the same but longer of course .

QUOTE (FlyingKiwi @ Jun 18 2009, 12:24 PM) Cool photos - that TU-154 (or if not that exact one, a very similar one) landed at Wellington a while back. I've got some photos on my PC of that one, once I get the PSU back I'll see if it was the same one in Wellington.

Nice shots. I particularly like number 5. I'm not an Airbus fan but the A320 does look great at that angle with that light. I've done similar shots at Wellington and they had similarly pleasing results.

Look at the fuselage , quite an impressive concept .. to increase the diameter , for the period a impressive concept which today well .. study how close the propeller arch is well away from the hull were if you have been lucky to ride in the cockpit .. believe AWP maybe had a small window in the crew door opposite the propeller , at 8500 ft across the channel was only maybe 8 to 10 inch's away form my face . Thank you for posting that photo Max /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Edit .. thought there is a DC-2 for FSX recent released...

The cover is the best descript of just how big the C17 is , think in a way , the large cockpit windows seem to shrink the plane down , mind you .. that could be a midget ground crew man /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif />

QUOTE (Daniel @ Jul 16 2008, 06:46 PM) It's not the easiest to get in towers these days because of the security though. I think if you are a student pilot im not sure about all the towers in NZ but the tauranga one, if they dont have training in progress its as simple as picking up the phone at the door and asking nicely. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

Yes, exactly. For example, there's a 172N based at Pukekohe East airfield which has the same scheme as -TAQ, ZK-JKA (not an AFS aircraft) has the same design as -TAT, -TAV etc. which is also the same as the default FS2004 172 livery and so forth. Of course, you can get a custom paint scheme, but presumably that costs extra. Also, to be really exact, technically most of the aircraft are just painted white - the stripes and patterns are decals applied over the top of the paint.

Agreed - the BE-2 looks fantastic in that light. That first Kittyhawk shot caught my eye immediately when I saw it in the latest photos section, so I was very pleased to see it quickly make its way to the main page. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />
