Not only does that Electra Junior have a US registration, it even has one of the old "NC" regos.

Malaysia 777 Shot 6 is a very special picture, I wonder for how long the highlights showed up on engines and fuse?

Jeez... I can't get it right with you guys now can I??? Anyway, I flew on JTP which was a 400. JNG and JNN were both parked at Wellington near the departure lounge. We were going to fly on JNG but it had technical difficulties. Phew!

Cheers guys. I love the fact that Dad used to work there.........unfortunately, being nearly 20 years ago, few except the very high up folk know the name "Dave Yates". Sigh......... But yeah, I just called the Ops Mgr and he said "yeah, come on in". Then I just slipped out for a look-see............ I don't know what my next lot of pics will be, but I'll keep you all posted. If anyone's keen to do a Tiger repaint, I have several more pics of AUZ.

Thanks for sharing Albatross, that 3D map view is very cool. I have never seen it before on any aircraft, perhaps they are using the meljet 777 model :P

ah yes, I've done that Air NZ flight from CHC to AKL in a 747 as a domestic flight. that was always a novelty, passing straight through customs as domestic passengers Yes indeed it was! Only about 1/3rd of the pax from Osaka continued on to Auckland, so it was great having a whole 747 with hardly anyone else aboard. I walked all around, went upstairs to business class and everything! I got some amazing photos out the window as well, flying over the Alps again, then past Cape Farewell, Mount Taranaki, and descent into AKL. Unfortunately, the camera (an old Kodak one) screwed up...

It is a great thing indeed that you get some reward for your contribution to aviation in NZ (NZFF) and secondly that you take these great pics for the rest of us. Well done, I can't think of anyone more deserving.

Cheers guys! Kiwi, looking forward to seeing yours soon! Okay, on with the final round! Graeme Frew's Nanchang, currently for sale ($145,000, email him gfrew@attglobal.net ). A Wanganui lad like myself, Graeme bases his 'chang at North Shore, and - more trivia - it was the very first Nanchang imported to the West. Recently repainted - thank God! Was very tatty for a coupla years after arriving from Oz. Arthur Dovey's lovely Yak-3. Since the age of 9 I've been dying to see one of these fly, and was I disappointed? Heck no! A gorgeous little thing, you...
