QUOTE (benwynn @ Dec 1 2007, 05:29 PM) For Takeoff, I think so James, but landing, im not so sure- I think it was a Charter, but quite possible that it was a regular service From MRC Aviation: "Qantas operated Boeing 767-300 VH-OGJ through Wellington on their regular QF47/48 service in lieu of the regular Boeing 737-400 to accomodate the LA Galaxy soccer team and its superstar player David Beckham."

Nice to see that 727, and the first shot is pretty decent resolution for a camera phone as well. Look forward to seeing some more of your shots from the 'West Island' there. /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> Alex

Zurich airport also arrange some special days when you can go down onto the grass where the runways intersect. They have a fenced area there and the noise and closeness when a 747 takes off is quite something. Definitely a place for more photo shoots!! smooth landings.
