QUOTE Great photos, wish I could've gone myself. To receive a compliment from you, a much more accomplished photographer, is awesome to receive- thanks. I've also just uploaded a video of Doug Brooker's MX-2 takeoff roll- very impressive

I had a brilliant trip in a Devon , Twin engine test flight and rating .. I was the sack of spuds in the back , getting on board .. McGyver style run to a moving plane , jump in then one wicked ride  into West Melton , west of NZCH , in out , throw it around , engine shut down to running outta runway :) .... super happy camper ........Lovvvved it :D

Looks like a lot of fun to me, I mean sure I'd rather have a "real" Mustang but most people aren't fortunate enough to have budgets that large!

Sweet pics! Re pax travelling onboard, the pax are generally very good and usually try to sleep or find other means of entertaining themselves which is hard to do when your exicited and just want the wheels to touch the Ice. The C-17 flight time is around 5 hours which isnt that long compared with the LC-130 Ski Birds Cheers

Saigon ... Ho Chi Minh City , Old rusty USAFhanger-type4 hanger more like placed late 60s during conflict , other hangers are more likely East German/ Russian , could be anything from the An24 Curl to An32 with early Ill86 , very heavy on fuel , more a widebody 707 :ph43r: Great pic s Tui :)

Awesome pics Raj, thanks for posting. I remember the days you used to spot at NZAA, but I guess you moved over to KL 'cos they were going to be getting the A380 there a long time before us :P I'll hopefully be at Auckland for the first visit from the Superjumbo to snap photos too! QUOTE Looking at it headon, look how tall that taifin is! My first impression also, Wow!

SAA makes an interesting comparison with PDM - ones a Grand Caravan (SAA) and the other is an ordinary Caravan
