You get a good view down the runway from the Postman Road, but if you talk nicely to the folks at the aeroclub I'm sure they'll let you take pics from the 'airside' of the aeroclub building. Wilks Road is another alternative but it'd be hard knowing where to stand to get a good view unless the circuit is fairly busy. It's mostly training aircraft with...

Not sure about that particular one, but one did visit Auckland a couple of years ago. Certainly not a common sight here though!

In my Production Control/Master Scheduler days I covered a fair bit of ground around the plant, but nothing like that. The least they should do is provide a pushbike. Mike

Great shots as well. The Vipers and helos are nice, but transports and tankers are even nicer....showing my bias for trash haulers who, by the way , have fun as well

Great shots of a great aircraft. Probably one of, if not the last time two RNZAF C-130Hs will be seen together. The KC-135T looks great as a triple point tanker.

The NASA Herk looks impressive. The C-17s are nice as well. Seriously though, they're all great shots.

Yes, not a good time at all.....I really hope this works out well, but it isn't looking good, and that is as far as I'll go ...very sad.

Huh... nothing compares to the beauty and simplicity of Active Camera in FS9. What is it with sim developers, that they so badly neglect the very essence of simming, which is to produce a decent screenshot?

A rather unusual attitude for such a low altitude. And the flap selection is also unusual too. I am guessing the plane was too heavy and overloaded with women soccer team and its equipment. Regards, Aharon

I saw on Beeb Scotland the other day, Emirates is using them on the Dubai-Glasgow leg now. Maybe next year...
