Good flight report Trolly. Did you actually end up flying the Feelthere Caravan for the flight? Thanks Brock- no only at the very end to take a screenshot with Mike ;) I have tried to explain to him that my pc mouse is not the same as the fuzzy kind with 4 legs that he plays with inside.

Thanks Towerguy! B) Very very useful information. The Beech altitudes surprised me, but given the King Air can operate to 30000+ plus perhaps I shouldn't have been. The WB-AA run at 250 was unexpected, quite a bit higher than I thought it would be.

Just seeing this thread resurface reminded me to take some screenies of the video Keagan sent to me of the moth landing on their film. Here is proof it really did happen:

You'll find all sorts of interesting hot keys if you scroll down through the list of "Assignments" in FS9. One I assigned for blurries caused by slow loading of scenery is "Refresh scenery" (I use Ctrl F12). This simply reloads the scenery afresh. As for reverse thrust, you can land a Dash 8 with room to spare at Milford Sound: Full flaps 98 kts... At 10ft altitude start tapping F2..F2...F2 As soon as the wheels touch ground the props reverse Hit brakes Stop Release brakes, aircraft backs up under reverse thrust :o Hit F1, open throttles. Take off to amazement of...

I've been having fun taking off on runway 11 at Milford Sound and flying to either Manapouri or Te Anau and keeping the altitude as low as possible. 4700ft so far but it's early days as their are many possible routes. It is some of the best scenery in FS, I have the RBE 20m&topo but may still be fun with the freeware RBE 75m mesh. I've flown around the area for real in a cessna 185 taildragger but it's done at mostly 8000ft. The scenery is so realistic I can honestly say the sim is better. (No CAA rules or saftey,if you crash so what!) The default Mooney or the...

Perhaps you could start a thread called International Flight Plans  or something, and put them all together in there? That sounds like a good idea, there ain't nothing worth shooting down here :D .

There is an 'Update Weather' option included in FS9, either a static download, or updated every 15mins. A payware program which does basically the same thing in 'ActiveSky' and if you fly on most multiplayer networks (IVAO, VATSIM, FPI etc etc etc) you will get real-world weather as well. One of the current limitations is the 'METAR Delay' as there is a time between the METAR being published, and to it being available on the web, so the 'Real-World Weather' will be real - albeit delayed a couple of hours. ;) Alex
