Welcome back already- your screenies in the last three legs were much more clearer- did you turn on anti-aliasing or turn up your graphics settings somehow? Like the passengers point of view on the wing shots- reminds of of all the RWA vids you've uploaded here. The VOZ water textures don't look too shabby either. Cheers for posting your tour here /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif />

QUOTE (PiperDriver @ Nov 29 2008, 03:46 PM) Thanks Snowman. I find the scenery a bit demanding on my PC, the other scenerys just waiting to see what happens wih my setup At the very least,......... try the Landclass and the mesh. They make a HUGE difference to the look of the islands, and should have absolutley no impact on your system. Bill's sceneries arent demaning at all on my 5 year old PC......................... QUOTE (Chairman @ Nov 14 2008, 11:22 AM) The documentation for the MAAM dc-3 says at 100% payload you'll max out with 50% fuel. However there's max and there's Max ... What are you using for a MTOW ? The MAAM DC-3's use 26,900 while the default fs9 dc-3 uses 26,200. RNZAF wartime MTOW was 29,000, and after the war the UK government set a civil MTOW of 28,000. Based on the MAAM bird - Fuel weighs 6 lbs / gallon, and the main tanks between them hold 404 gallons, so that's 404 * 6 = 2424 lbs. 29,000 - 2424 = 26,576, so based on the civil MTOW you're probably...

QUOTE (deeknow @ Nov 7 2008, 08:35 AM) How about bolting some floats on and dropping into the ocean every now and then when you've spotted a friendly looking ship that might pump a little fuel down to you on the surface. Of course you'd prolly wanna convert the aircraft to dielsel engines /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Seriously tho, has anyone here done a TEAL type round the world in a Short Solent or-what-have-you flying-boat? Or perhaps a big airliner. lots of leg room but cannot land on water. Could use a flying boat that...

QUOTE (deeknow @ Oct 18 2008, 07:38 PM) BTW, I see the Wairoa strip is sealed in your FSX pics but in FS9 it's a dirt track, anyone know if its sealed in real life, I couldnt find any photos on the net The chart from aip.net.nz shows that part of the runway is sealed. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex

Cool. I did something familiar: Created my vintage airline company called OldTime Air (quite stylish isn't it /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> ) It has only old kiwi planes like DC-3, De Havilland Dove, De Havilland Dragon, Lockheed Electra and the bit more modern HS748. I love to do short flights around New Zealand. I turn on real weather, and FSPassengers (with custom kiwi voices installed), fly on real routes using real charts (AIP), so this gives me a real exciting experience and even if it's still "dead" a bit, I really enjoy...

according to the NZAIP wellington standard route clearances(1) AA WNAA3 H277(13000ft and above) and WNAA4 H364 PP H482 WU H367 OR H277 (11000ft and below) H277 will take you to POKOM and then you pick up either STAR05R(1) - POKOM1D or STAR23L(1) - POKOM1C depending on the runway in use. hope it sheds some light anyway cheers

QUOTE (Anthony @ Jul 15 2008, 03:35 AM) Fly to Wigram and keep it alive!!! This is a quite cool idea especially with FSPassengers being integrated into it. we are looking at setting Wigram as a base of operations, and woodbourne is going to be on our flight plan list, here are some more pics of our fleet a boeing 767-300er A321 A320 And one of our F100's we are getting the boeing 717-200's, b737 200's as a short term fix for the shorter runways as the fokker 70's are very busy, we are also looking at aquiring some of the ex ANZ saab 340's, the embraers...
