Hi Aharon, yes both Andy and I do fly the -600 version and are both based in AKL. In fact we are flying together today. Wow that is AMAZING COINCIDENCE that I made the post on same day that both of you would be flying together in the same -600 flight!! That was a couple of enjoyable flights in a SAAB 340B :) On descent into BNE, it got a bit bumptious thanks to the light overcast and a moderate nor-easter, but that is only to be expected with a smaller airliner. Long time since I saw my old stamping ground in the Illawarra from the air. 2hrs each way, a nice single seat with a window, and the only thing I didn't like was the armrest being so low. One thing I do like about sitting abaft the wing in a turboprop, is thinking "Ha-ha, their scenery has blurries too" :twisted: :lol: Picture by darling daughter.
