Aww, thanks guys! Had an enjoyable night out at Omaka talking warbirds with my two partners in the replica *** project, Adam and Graham. Got some nifty gift from them, too - Adam gave me a hammer for using on gimp pins etc with my ***'s reserved rego engraved on it, and Graham got me a DH cap and a Revell DH.2 kit. Didn't get any actual structural work on the ***s done, but hopefully we should have some formers done tonight. Woo!

I was contacted via PM by Garry, and he has asked me permission to showcase the NZ Retro-AI project in the next issue of the magazine. His approach, and his attitude were entirely proffessional and friendly. I have given permission for this article to go ahead, and am furnishing him with text about the project, and also pics from the testing of the first 2 parts of the project. He will edit this text to suit and fit the mag, and choose the pics he wants, but he will run it all past me first before publication. Personally i think this is a very good chance for all of us to showcase the beauty...

yea same. I dont really care its a half day tomorow I have only had 2 full days this term since I cant walk /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> and havnt walked over 6 weeks so i get tied /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif />

ie. You click on the icon and nothing appears to happen. However, if you manually refresh the page, it will (correctly) identify that forum as being read and the icon changes from the orange one to the blue one as it should. I wasn't even aware that that feature existed! I just tried it myself, by clicking one of the orange markers, and it changed it to the white unread symbol. I tried clicking another orange unread marker down the page, and it wouln't change untill I refreshed the page. To be honest, I have no idea why this is. I didn't write it into the skin when I created...

I'd quite like to remove the donation facility from my store at the end of this week, so if you intended to donate and haven't got around to it then please do so by Sunday. After the initial interest, donations have been few and far between. We've raised approx 55% of the original goal, although some additional costs (approx $150) were met by a couple of businesses. So let's have once last spend-up, and get this out of the way.

Well as far as I can see, everything is running as it should be. I have created a theme (actually just copied the default new theme and added a few image icons from the old board) to make things seem a little more familer, which can be selected at the bottom of the home page. The new look might take a while to get used to, but after a few days this place will definitely feel like home... enjoy! :thumbup:
