Hmmmm well I have come home and tried switching the skins... clicking on the view new post icon seemed to work OK... so I switched the skin back and I then started getting the 'every post is unread' type behaviour... so I logged out... deleted the cookies... logged back in and (touch wood) things seem to be working OK... I guess I will have to wait and see when I use the comp at work to see if that may be screwing things up!
