QUOTE (ScottyB @ Jul 26 2011,10:18 AM) Just wondering what the best 777 and A340 models are for FS9 and FSX? Preferably freeware with a VC, unless there is an absolutely outstanding payware model out there? I use the POSKY 777 without any problems, VC works fine for me so maybe it's something to do with your video set up.

QUOTE (AlisterC @ Jul 28 2011,7:27 AM) If you ask me (I know you didn't! /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> ) there will be a whole lot of 'set and forget' features on this plane (ie you'll set the night lighting and panel set up as you like it once, and then forget about it) Once you are up to speed with a 737 it certainly isn't 45 minutes to get one up and running. They are fairly simple compared to earlier models of 737. Flight plans will likely still be able to be imported if in the right format to help save...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Jul 24 2011,2:19 AM) Part of me thinks I'm doing it for the greater good of the Flight Sim community. If more of us bought stuff at reduced rates rather than pirating it, we'd all be winners. But really, it's because they were cheap /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> I'll remember that next time a sale comes up and I really don't need to buy anything! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

Just seen an email from Loinheart that they are having a sale until Sunday. If you are after the Kodak $12.95USD with todays exchange rate that's bugger all! I'd recommend this one to anyone at this price - I think I paid about $25 USD for it.

Now I've been looking at it for a few days, I decided that that "blue" was just a little too vibrant compared to the real aircraft, so I have altered it a little and added a couple of other minor fixes. I think I was just a little too excited to get it uploaded and I should have sat on it a couple of days. I've sent of a Version 2 of the repaint to be uploaded at AVSIM; apologies for any inconvenience to those who have already downloaded it. Cheers Az

I sure the DC-3 will be an ace , back to the modeller , maybe a few other version .. the LC-47, course be interesting to see development change and textures , as for the cockpit in one of those it is a little noisey , the Panther , obviously regenerated the sound from the movie 'Bridges over Toko-ri ' the engine whines down , rush off slipstream could cause that , i found in the cabin pass the wing off a 777 was heck a lot noisier than a 747 , when in the cockpit was the other way round , maybe Cowpatz can confirm variations in sound difference between the types .

QUOTE (MaarkenEdwards @ Jul 19 2011,9:54 PM) ZK-CME is sitting up here beside us at Classic Flyers at the moment i blieve, beautiful extrior but banged up ALOT inside.... beauty through and through though /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Thanks Maarken, sounds like many a 182 - no matter how well an owner/operator tries to look after their aircraft, it's the pilots (and passengers) that take their toll on the interior. CME is in the planning, but probably after NOC, which will be a couple of weeks away. BTW, while I think of it, would...

Might have to cave in and get this one. Giving up on A2A, not interested in their 377 update, which seems to have hijacked other developments such as their F4 and Stang. This link will be of interest to all of us who love the venerable P-51

QUOTE (Naki @ Jul 17 2011,11:29 AM) The T-38 looks awesome (the J-7 looks pretty good too - not too sure about the Airtruk))..whats your take on it Ian (more screenies too please)? The L-39 would look more military if you used the version with the Gunsight. Thousands of Warsaw Pac, Asian, Middle East and African pliots would disagree it not been militrary like. The Hawk looks a bit lacking if you ask me, although I do appreciate the Hawk has better performance IRL. Ah, it's actually a MiG21F-13, by the same guy who did the new MF. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :)...

I use them online in IL2 1946 and their quite a good low level bomber, but as soon as a mustang spots you they soon catch up and take you down.

Yeah, that's what I was after, the 2d pop up. Sorry Deane, I meant to reply to this. I added your lines to the panel config, but it didn't work for me. That's as far as I got unfortunately. Haven't been able to fly much lately.

In case people don't already know (and he's too modest to mention it), most of Jankees' repaints are hosted on AussieX.org ... here . I love that RNZAF 727 one!

Interesting to note that a some of those "what ifs" are now real, with some of the -93 upgraded being on-sold to other nations.
