For the most part I've always been very happy with Carenado's aircraft - and given how regularly they release new models you can't criticise them too much. The 185 was probably the worst flight model simply because it was horrendously overpowered (2,500fpm rate of climb straight off the deck at max all up weight?), but there is a patch available for it. I haven't flown very many of the aircraft they've released for real so can't make too much comment, but their 172 flew a heck of a lot more like a real 172 than the default FSX one.

Its not bad at all - better than the previous release. The also recently released Flying Stations S1 payware has a better FM IMHO - but until they release the S2 I'm happy with the UKMIL version /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> One thing is seriously awry though - the lean to the right when on the ground and "soft" undercarriage - over-tendency to roll when taxi at relatively slow speed. Otherwise I like it - I like it a lot /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Mar 24 2012,10:50 AM) Thanks Adrian. It is mainly at high speed that it is an issue. Any slight crosswind or correction required and off it goes. It is very annoying and a reason that I no longer fly it. I could try resetting the contact points but there is just too many damn wheels! There is a good website article on an easy way to set contact points using lights. thanks bud,..yea thats how i set the footprint on the p-3 using nav lights /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />,..I googled the CLS 747-200 and nobody else had...

QUOTE (deeknow @ Mar 6 2012,11:34 PM) Great stuff, nice work, have just been out and about around Invercargill in the textures. I'd be a starter for the mod to pull back the Alpha layer a bit, looks like a tad too much Turtle-wax there /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Sweet, I'll get onto that after school. Glad you like the paint. I'll post the fix link here also

Dont know of any...yoiu maybe able to retrofit the Mindstar G1000 into the Flight 1 172R (which is a FS9 model ported to FSX). The only other 172 is the Carenado one but that has steam gauges. Carenado are working on a G1000 equiped 182 and SR-22GTS so I would bet that they will eventually come out with G1000 equipped 172 if you are willing to wait.
