I've said this before, but I'll say it again - long after all the world's A380s and 787s have gone to the scrap heap, there will still be DC-3s flying.

QUOTE (deeknow @ Jul 5 2012,8:50 PM) For a freebie you can't go past the PAD model, has an Eagle livery: I've just installed this one - to get some screenshots for NZFSIM ... it's really not bad at all! Ethan Ward repainted the whole vANZ fleet. Search for vanz_b1900d_fleet.zip on flightsim.com. For FSX. you may want to grab the prop texture from b19manx.zip (from PAD).

Mechanical Engineer's dream to design a multiwheel bogey to fit inside an impossibly small sponson... Yes! you're right, and the model kneels when you open up.

QUOTE (Charl @ Jun 29 2012,9:36 AM) I am wondering, on a scale of 1-10, how these compare with a full-blown $3m simulator? or a $750 thou for a Flight Experience sim /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

QUOTE (deeknow @ Jun 28 2012,4:29 PM) Does anyone know what other FSX models are shared-cockpit compatible? Seems like its mostly confined to base models shipped with FSX? Great plane plane , L-39 is a great ride .. and with Kade driving .. you had to be in the back to make sure he kept the engine running /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif />

QUOTE (Naki @ Jul 1 2012,1:13 AM) FDE is done by Bernt Stolle IIRC...he also did the Extra 300 and doing a revised one for the Sukhoi Ah that's good, his updated FDE for the Carenado Cessna 185 made a big difference for the better so that sounds encouraging.

MTOW - Maximum take off weight (you'll always land under that one lol) FCTM - Flight Crew Training Manual (youtube tutorials might cut down your reading time) Crashes into AI. Just turn off crash detect? Blows my mind why anyone would bother with it turned on in the first place. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Kind regards!

QUOTE (Adamski @ Jun 10 2012,11:46 PM) Do you have any of the following? : BN-2 Islander CS C-130 Hercules P-3 Orion (the Kawasaki one) PBY Catalina DC-3 / NZ Warbirds. Dave Garwood's Chipmunk. If so, we could try exporting/importing one of my schedule databases - something I've never done before. I have schedules created for: 1) Great Barrier Airlines 2) Some RNZAF traffic between NZWP, NZOH and NZWB 3) Some local NZ Warbirds traffic between NZAR and NZWP (for fun). You may need to get familiar with assigning your own repaints to schedule slots for it all to work (eg. If you...

Well I see a depth of detail here that should keep me quiet for months. Actually just reading the manual is educational in itself! QUOTE The BAe146-200 is essentially the same plane as the BAe146-100, only differing in length of the fuselage. The 200 was by no means meant as an upgrade of the original model in the way the Boeing 737-200 was an upgrade of the 100, for instance. Instead, the 100 and 200 were designed and built at the same time, the 200 being an extended version of the 100, capable of carrying a max of 112 passengers I will invest the time to make the best of it. What I am...

He amazingly said free/donationware - I'd be quite happy to pay double digits to support the project. The pics posted of the C-model's tailrotor are jawdropping. I need to get a decent PC again. These models look amazing. I hope they are separate as I'd love just the C-model. One poster there said his only request would be a doors-off version. I like this idea!
