The updates are the single worst part of the MSFS experience for me. Overall I love it and I can't see myself ever going back to anything else, but the actual process of doing an update fills me with dread, and there does always seem to be something new broken for everything they fix. Currently my TrackIR doesn't work after the last big update which is super frustrating. :swear:

So did I, and I'm not the least bit sorry about splashing out to get it again in MSFS, it's even better now :) Well I say splashing out, but I had a bunch of reward points and a loyalty discount, so I ended up splashing out about $12 usd. No brainer really ...

>nzflag< It'd be great to see some Kiwi repaints for this as some of us have only recently discovered it...or of the two airworthy restoration projects, JP843 in Canada (with Kiwis involved) and RB396 in the UK. There's artwork showing what RB will look like (I've built a couple of Airfix kits of her) and a couple of wartime photos of JP.

It's going to take you a while to dig through a decade's worth of forum posts... :o Unfortunately the links are broken or files missing. Hopefully an NZFFer has the Griffon file stashed on a hard drive somewhere and takes pity on me!

Looks OK based on the screenies, I'm also interested, esp as we never really had a decent Banderirante in the past for FSX/FS9 etc. I see there's even an Air NZ Link blue skin out of the box, bonus !!!

Aharon, I didn't know you were so interested in the real dynamics of these models, I seemed to think you were more visual ( based on what you have posted) Splitpin, Thanks Yes I believe in realism of real world historic and present day flights which includes realistic flying manners. I have solved the problem of flying Convairs and it is working now yet I have NOT yet solved the problem of flight speed. For interesting reading on my problems flying Convairs and how I solved the problems, please go to this hyperlink: Regards, Aharon

I agree ...some of these models look plastic. I think its a combination of the textures , and maybe the lighting and angle. You're right Marty, but I think having nothing in a shot to scale it against contributes. It looks fine in the first pic. Even in AFS2, some ridge lines look like cardboard cut-outs, but a few trees usually fixes that.
