QUOTE (SeanTK @ Jul 15 2013,4:46 AM) Decided to get it and am glad that I did! It's a very realistic helicopter! Great flight dynamics and I'm particularly happy about the realistic startup. The only thing I didn't initially care for was the usage of the stock com/nav and transponder in the VC, but I easily swapped them with the ones from the Carenado Cessna 185 and everything looks fantastic! I also think I've killed way too many people on the sling missions! I apparently need more practice with my precision hover skills, though it is somewhat amusing...

I think its a shame they haven't modelled a classic Kingair. The Carenado one is quite good but the handling isn't very good like a lot of the Carenado products.

QUOTE (SeanTK @ Jul 13 2013,10:23 AM) There's some very interesting history related to the Airtransit airline as well! " The STOLport in Ottawa was Rockcliffe Airport because of its proximity to downtown. Airtransit Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada was incorporated on June 19, 1973 with six de Havilland DHC-6-300 (M.O.T.) Twin Otter, registered as CF-CST, CF-CSU, CF-CSV, CF-CSW, CF-CSX, CF-CSY, while regular flights started in early 1974. At the end of the demonstration it was decommissioned and eventually turned into the Montreal Technoparc technology...

QUOTE (Naki @ Jul 8 2013,11:01 PM) Yes agree with a Yak 3 and Namchang. Other possibilities PAC 750XSTOL, Alpha 160, Chipmunk, Grumman Tiger/Cheetah I'd love a good accurate Alpha 160; the ones I've flown so far are not FSX-only and don't seem to entirely match the characteristics of the real thing which I am doing my PPL in. My whole sim rig was put together for me to practice flying the 160 in/around Hamiltonin the long gaps between lessons (due to lack of finances), so a good model of it would be great. I tend to fly the Waikato Aero Club ZK-WCD mostly, but sometimes...

Sim-outhouse.com has been down for the last 9/10 days , crashed here around 2.30/3.00pm Sunday week back as we were to set a MP flight , I contacted an admin yet without a reply but with Greg around here yesterday had a recent posting they have only just acknowledged it is down , checking FR site there is no hint of the release altho due early .. well now past this month . A link to spot ya fave .. Paul's fave , this is a prerequisite for all NZFF Warbird fans ... considering the RNZAF operated 297 between 1942-1945 , course the regulars you see on the airshow circuits .

I'm not a great fan of the black and white scheme. I know it is meant to be representative, but to who? The blue and teal colour was more representative of the pacific in general and could have been enhanced. There were some good experimental liveries floating around a few years ago (might even have been on this site too) that were great. The black will date very quickly and start to look quite shabby when it ages. Different does not make it better.

QUOTE (FlyingKiwi @ Jun 24 2013,8:34 PM) How about an ag operator like Super Air or Wanganui Aero Work? /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Oddly enough i believe there is an update or build by Sibwings with the spray gear ... seem to be the ultimate aircraft due to its payload but maybe not as spritely as your standard AG types ... maybe they have bigger paddocks in eastern Europe .

I do not own the A320X , neither do I fly any Airbus actually. That is because there is not good Airbus for the Flightsim yet. I have the Airsimmer A320 and it -can- do a managed climb and stuff, can the Aerosoft product do that as well? If you're ok with programming the FMC it should work all well. Quoting the AirSimmer document: QUOTE The FCU – Flight Control Unit – is the main interface between the pilot and the autopilot. The targets for the autopilot can be either MANAGED or SELECTED. “Managed mode†means that the FMGS computes the target itself. This mode is selected by...

Pretty sure the only payware one is the Abacus model... Abacus aren't exactly the PMDG of the sim world its true /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> but it does appear to have all you'd need to fly IFR. There is a freebie for FS9 which should work if the gauges are compatible. Note: the name is Partenavia with an "E" not "A" as you spelt it, might help when your searching, oh and the machine was also known later as the Vulcanair P68
