Hi Laurie and gokanru. That is great news about the upcoming NAC, Mt Cook and SPANZ repaints for the default DC-3. I like the idea of the Fieldair repaint as well. There are some great dusting effects out there to make her fully useable in FS as well. Speaking of Fieldair has anyone come across a good Loadstar yet? Laurie, there is a Teal DC-6 repaint available that might be usefull to the retro AI project. Also a DC-6 and DC-4 in the beautifull pollished metal of BCPA. I bet it was quite a sight when Whenuapai was Aucklands international airport and the bid DC's, Strats, Connies,...

One of the other neat things is demonstrated in the gliding, you now have a connection to the tug thats visible, and you interact so you have to 'fly' rather than just be pulled. Dont do this and you could crash both of you, snap your cable etc. Its fun watching the cable tense up as you go.  NOW you're talking! Years ago Flight Unlimited 2 (?) had a brilliant glider setup, the cable release went 'Glunk" when you popped it. It was the coolest thing, in a world populated by FS5 Legoplanes. OK I got the EC135 and the EC145 - nice but I'm having trouble with the gauges. The "Read me" says open the zipped Gauges folder and move the two sub folders into the Main Gauges file of FS9. Now that all seemed pretty straight forward. I've managed to load Addon aircraft plenty of other times and it's not uncommon for the Gauges to be in a seperate zipped file. But I have some missing in the Cockpit view and the VC is also missing some. The doc's say I need to turn on the Battery master switch. Great thinks I that may reveal all. But damned I can even find the...

The RNZAF P3 orion Is not too bad an aircraft but the panel really sucks This is how the panel should look,after all it is the military version of the Lockheed Electra. This is a version of the Console It would pay to look at the readme to be able to use this panel to its best.In our one I also changed the sound,I prefer the sound pack that was Edited by Adrian Brausch

This was alot harder than I thought, trying to pick only 3 Aircraft Howard 500 (freeware) Captain Sim Boeing 727 (payware) KBT P-3C (freeware)

I saw this and have to say as a model builder I was very disappointed that Boeing have licensed this model, my personal view is Boeing havnt bothered to check the quality, if they had I doubt they would have supported it. It also effectively closes the door on other developers who may have developed a high quality model. On the bright side I use FSDesign Studio from Abacus, its one piece of software that's come from them thats pretty darn good.

Excellent thanks Trolly, Only had time for a couple of quick trial flights last night. Brings back memories of my time "flying these bar stools"(as a GA pilot friend of mine called them). The included challengers are a bonus. MMmmm, now if i dump the passenger there's just enough room for a deer or two. Time for a trip around the Central Plateau me thinks.

hey everyone just to keep u posted the zero's wings are about 10mins from being finished and the p40 kitty hawks undernieth the wings is about 2mins from being finished and the mosquito is paint in nz2308 colours which is the one that glynn powell is building at the moment and i have james mckay helping me with that at the moment and i have just found the next warbird to do that would look awsome next to the spitfire and that is the bf109-g10 that was at wanaka in 1996 i have found a good model for flightsim to do it on so this looks like the hardest warbird i would have to do but i will...
