Well that model coudl really do with some improvment, fsx really looks like a cartoon there! :lol: are they complety black windows, at least it simulates reverse thursters, thats one improvment over fs98 ahaha With better textures and a bit more detail, it could be great, and a nice realistic vc too of course :P James

Seeing that the aircraft.cfg already has the line 'autopilot_available=1' in it, all you need to do is assign a key command to 'altitude hold on/off' in your autopilot section of the fs2004 key commands. Mine is ctrl+z You can also do the same for heading, and if you change the 'autothrottle_available=0' to 'autothrottle_available=1', you can assign a key to hold your airspeed. This works in any aircarft I believe. Wing Leveler is CTRL+V by default.

Well done Kelburn, you give a good insight into what the plane's about. Those locked into FS2k4 take heart, there's a lot of life left in the older sim versions! I see a lot of new FS98 downloads still available too :o

how excatly do they get a picture like that, someone climb up the mountain it was flying past? id guess anothor aircraft beside it, thats quite kool to get a photo like that.. yep it was last year we did a formation takeoff in the 406 (ZK-VAA) with the door off with VAB beside, then later on VAC formated alongside too. I really can't see the ugly side of 1900's, perhaps its because i've seen the rewards of operating them as opposed to a better looking but quite frankly horrendous aircraft like a J31/32 or metro. i have got a rnzaf repaint for captain sim c-130 and i do what it tells me to do but i can not see that panit work in flight sim and i have got fsx also that i haved tried mod the aus mod but have no luck but from that every thing else is working fine The CaptainSim C130 is FS9 , I'm not sure if there is a X patch for it , nor have i tried to install the 9 to X .. The paint missin due to incorrect folder , and that if it works in X :)

if u don't mind me asking how much did it cost in nz dollars as i am really keen on the features and i asked the support team for capt sim and got the cold shoulder response so to speak also geanrally speaking is ita good model and easy to use

About the Origin pAcific - well why not add them in the old fashioned way?

Hi Pat, You can open the aircraft cfg file (the text one) within the Aircraft folder, using wordpad or similar. Scroll down and in the aircraft ebtry you'll find; description= just enter what you desire after the = sign. For the performance scroll further down 'til you see; You should see; performance= in that section and you can add to this part also. If there is no sign of either entry, just type them in yourself in the appropriate places and remember to save before exiting :lol: Cheers Stewart B)

If anyone hears about an update for the DF Baron PLEASE PLEASE let me know - this is virtually all I fly and really want an FSX update for it - I have tried the Dreamfleet website but they update it about - never! and there is never any response from queries. thanks :)

Well it was a close thing, both Concorde and Spitty are truly beautiful aircraft. The 737 ain't actually bad looking, many thanks to all those 737 admirers who were restrained enough not to vote in this poll :lol: Trolly has been persuaded to make the winner here a screenshot comp theme. Can't wait :thumbup:
