QUOTE(marty @ Aug 5 2007, 10:01 AM) QUOTE(Timmo @ Aug 5 2007, 12:38 AM) What resolution are your texture sheets? I make the textures in Corel draw at 4096 x 4096 @ 600dpi then export them the same size, and scale them with DXT bmp or PSP. Create the alpha map and save with dxt bmp then edit the alpha, save it and import it back, finally saving in DXT3 . Cheers Marty I'll try Corel , maybe there is a format that has lock'd the file .. as ya can textures including pinstripe smooth , it was modifying from a drawing that caused strife .

QUOTE(ooOO00OOoo @ Jul 27 2007, 10:07 AM) Now it swerves to the right. Is that meant to happen? How do i stop it? Not enough paint on the left wing. Add more paint. Seriously, though, check the fuel/load dialog. You may have saved a flight at some point where there was an imbalance - more fuel taken from the left tank, all the pax sitting on the right etc...

QUOTE(Ian Warren @ Jul 28 2007, 04:29 PM) Fiskens 'Wildcat' 072 , I do have close ups and anther famed called 'Gloria Lyons' /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> I would LOVE a Gloria Lyons repaint! Preferably how she appeared during the war, as opposed to her current state with John Smith at Mapua! And yes, the original "Wildcat" was P-40N NZ3072, but it'd still be nice to have a repaint of NZ3009 in those colours. I remember seeing pics and vid of her around the 1998 WoW....the book of that...

QUOTE(Naki @ Jul 30 2007, 09:18 AM) yep...the FS version obviously forgot to model the experimental 'Screaming kid bomb'......it was a top secret project that was discontinued as they couldnt find a way to attach the bomb to the wing without getting CYFS angry Ha ha ha /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> sometimes I feel like dropping him from an aircaft - but he is pretty well behaved most of the time! (can't seem to get him interested in aircraft though). Ian I would of loved to got him into the pilots seat (and me...

simulated is the only way I would ever fly in one of these When I was working in OZ I had a chief engineer/pilot rated on everything all the way up to B747 and he said if I valued my life then never fly in a tomahawk or an MU2. They had a whole run of them dissappear on freight runs at night and there was an AD put out asking for info on uncommanded sudden pitch inputs by the autopilot!??

and one last one the Flight 1 152 after fixing the gauges with a complete reinstall - interesting comparison with freeware 150 - VC 's about the same - in all other respects the freeware one is better IMO

QUOTE(Zöltuger @ Jul 28 2007, 04:09 AM) I'd do one, but I don't have the Wilco 733. Keep looking :) Incidently, is this the repaint that has the oversized Star Alliance logo on the side? I never like that... Not that it will matter by October anyway, because it'll be outdated :ph43r: What what what?? ANZ is changing the livery again? Or what did you mean?

Anyone else having major perforamce problems with the FSX G1000 guages? In any of the G1000 aircrafts VCs I get about 3rd of my perforamce in other other aircraft. They are prety well simulated, not to well on the MFD but the PFD is nice.. Sadly I can't use my fsx ones, it was odd, when I first did my upgrade I didn't get to much of a fps drop with them, but now im getting really bad.. slowly getting worse over time. James

It's an El Niño year. The hot weather is being blocked by unusually warm sea currents spawning low pressure system after low pressure system after... Basically we need a shift in the ocean currents to break the cycle. Don't know how you'd achieve flooding in the sim. It's not just towns and fields flooded from burst river banks, there are airfields under more than a metre of water (less "wet wet wet", more "glug glug glug"!) Of course you can guarantee FS would still show it as desert!
