QUOTE (deeknow @ Nov 27 2010, 09:56 PM) Hey Ben. There's a new Jetstar A320 livery for the PSS model on AVSim this week, look for filename: jetstar_a320_vgv.zip From the screenies it seems like better detail on this one Thank you very much. Yes this livery looks better than other one /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Bruce , guess the Realair Spitfire is your choice and for FSX gives you 6 variants and marks , clip wing cannon jobbies , early tail MkIXs to MkIVX s , a brilliant package . /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />

The proof will be in the pudding... will this model and the PMDG model both feature undercarriage problems like on the real a/c? /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

I owned it for a while, but ended up getting a Flight1 refund (lost about $5 in the credit card fee/exchange rate go around) - and technically it was very good although I found the dials quite difficult to read with the VC set to a zoom level I was happy with and I found learning a whole new GPS with a primitive (true to the real world!) interface just frustrating - I can drive an FMS or a Garmin just fine. The autopilot was also a bit strange (again aparently true to life) it that you can't do altititude and heading at the same time!?! I suspect everything I didn't...

Nice little post there Ian...my preference is still the L-39 though..superior VC, better systems modelling plus there are a few private L-39s in NZ but I guess there is a price diffrence in models...mind you if I was in charge of Air Force procurement there would always be room for a squadron of Hawks

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Nov 14 2010, 06:13 PM) Scrubbs ! Your going to love this one /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Search David Sweetman for all RNZAF variations, they are FS9 paints but work fine in FSX /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Great, thanks Ian. I just went for a quick spin in it before, first impressions are good. I only got the baser pack, seems to have enough to play with there for now! Just trying to stabilise my monitor after the last wee shake. Thought it added some realism...

QUOTE (mfraser @ Nov 10 2010, 10:49 PM) Yeah - its like the programmers failed to acknowledge that there are pilots in other parts of the world that use Millibars!! I have the PMDG 1900D completely refitted with a combination of RealityXP gauges. The Flightline-T series has a Generic 2 window altimeter, whic allows QNH settings in both hPa and MB. It is payware, but I find them heaps better than the default gauges and many freeware gauges - they're very smooth and very crisp and clear. It will set you back about NZD$38 and is compatible with both FS9 and FSX. Best of...

I left the wireframe on in case I needed to do any adjustments - damn! It's nigh on right, straight out of the paintbox... /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> weeeelll, there are a few little tweaks and pulls I do need to do, but she's good enough to show and tell... A few more days yet, but this is a kept promise. Enjoy!
