Hi all, Another, non-Kiwi request. I've been having a ton of fun flying the Tim Conrad-designed, Michael Pook-updated XP-40Q (fsx_curtissp40q.zip on FlightSim.com) but the schemes are total fiction. Is there anyone who would be eager to replicate the real XP-40Q2's civilian scheme as below? NX300B by Zac Yates , on Flickr AMTech box art (unreleased) by Zac Yates , on Flickr Draw Decal 1/48 by Zac Yates , on Flickr XP-40Q Taichiro Yamashita profiles by Zac Yates , on Flickr XP-40Q Taichiro Yamashita top by Zac Yates , on Flickr XP-40Q Taichiro Yamashita bottom by Zac Yates , on Flickr XP-40Q...

There are many variations of style in the repaint world. Designers with big ego's will repaint a bog standard B737 and insert in the ui manufacturer field something like "Imogen G Huffnikar". You go searching under Boeing in FS and get mightily disappointed that there's no shiny new aircraft awaiting. Installer packages are the worst since you have no control over the process and where the files go. I generally take a dummy run in my downloads folder first, to see what the dam' thing is doing. And I have taken another tack in transferring the info into my FS folders....

I used to work on them back in the late 70s early 80s. Very advanced aircraft at the time. Area navigation etc. I’d have loved to have flown one.

Stunning !!! thanks for sharing that, seen a couple of other early reviews but he's given it some great coverage aye. I've decided to give p3d one more year so am actually about to pull the pin on their Max model for P3D, give that a whirl until I jump onto MSFS You will enjoy it. It's very nice to fly.

I fixed your img post Paul, the problem was you were using a link to the drop-box preview rather than a link to the raw image itself, see the following for an explanation

I worked as a ground engineer on them for a few years. A great machine from a maintenance point of view. I spent time in CHC for a while, during my engineering apprenticeship, and we would see in NZ227 from AKL, then dispatch it to SYD, and upon it's return send it to AKL as NZ228 (if my memory serves me correctly on the flight numbers). On the DC10-30 the centre main gear could be retracted and extend independently from the other gear. So, coming from AKL and SYD it would land with the centre gear up (if light enough) so that the company was only charged for a DC10-10 landing fee (It had no...

Remember this from a year ago?!?!?!? well I finally got around to sorting out the night textures and some other stuff and released it on flightsim.com (for now)... If anyone is still running FSX or P3D and the SkySpirit 767 models would love to hear how you get on installing this  This has kinda motivated me to do some more paints now, will prolly port them to the CS767 model too (for P3D)

There are lots lots of those new liveries that were never painted before in flight simming history. The liveries were painted by one of most famous repainters by the name of Tony Madge who has been painting liveries for all flight simmers since September 19, 1999 !!!! Many many thanks to Tony Madge for painting ENTIRE fleet and ENTIRE history of all New Zealand 737-200 planes. Tony deserves round of applause from all of you in New Zealand. Regards, Aharon
