QUOTE (toprob @ Apr 16 2008, 10:53 AM) I have been giving this some thought, but it does have me stumped. I don't think that FSX can't find or use the textures -- when I remove the building textures, some buildings become invisible and some appear black -- the two shades of grey which your screenshot shows is what I see before the textures kick in. Can you lower some settings and see what happens? What happens if you return the settings to the 'bucket' defaults? (Don't reset these from the main options screen, as this will reset everything -- just from the scenery...

Forgive me if I'm late to this party. I use Christian Stock's 20m mesh/scenery for NZ. Problem is, the airfield at Luggate (Wanaka) seems to be displaced westwards, to the other side of the road (i.e. to about the location of the carpark below WOW's campervan hill-top vantage-point). The approach from Luggate is now obscured by a hill. Is there a fix for this? Thanks Gonebush CHCH

QUOTE (Peppermint @ Mar 31 2008, 05:49 PM) I think you need the Red baron topo, that should fix the runway at Wanaka, it has at least for my friend. Trees on runways and all I think has something to do with the afcads, I still haven't found a fix or how to fix them yet. I'd make Rangiora airport/airfield if I knew how to make scenery, seeing as I don't live that far away I could probably go get photos. I do have Red Baron Topo installed. Here is a screen shot of a portion of the installed library. I've never noticed this occuring before either. Te Anau was always...

Yeah I've seen those but they only add default looking buildings where the factories are and a few extras but not a much details at Renton. I want to add in some airside details like unfinished static a/c etc. Sorry about before I forgot that Everett was also mainly used. Renton is only used for 737's but used to be used for 757's as well. Also Wichita is a Boeing factory but I will probably make just Renton and maybe Boeing after that. There just aren't any proper renditions of Renton.

I always had this, was there ever something to remove it completly, you could remove bits but they never really made much of a differance. I always thought it could be better if it wasn't there. Thanks James

QUOTE (FlyingKiwi @ Mar 26 2008, 11:22 AM) Sorry Lawrie that's the only photo I took at Opotiki. I remember that hangar with the ultralight painted on - from a distance I actually thought it was a real plane at first glance. Thanks very much Ashton,................. That fills in a couple of gaps for me. Much appreciated. :) Lawrie. >nzflag<

QUOTE (Dan @ Mar 30 2008, 07:05 AM) ExcBuilder V2 didn't solve the problem. . yup I tried it too and flattex didnt do it either the only way i could get rid of those was to use EZ scenery to place and "bury" an object in the same location using the elevation tool. The new object will prevent the old one from displaying . its payware but well worth it. only works with fs 9 right now though btw the new object should be one that doesnt set off crash detect- fences or something similar should work

QUOTE (Bazza @ Mar 22 2008, 12:52 PM) Further to my previous post (unanswered) is adding this seamless and without problems.........? A review suggested that in FS2004, there can be elevation problems around airports etc... Does dumping this in over the top of my existing mesh create problems that can be done without ? Don't know sorry Bazza. Guys?
