QUOTE When we get the datasets, they usually come in three parts (all from the same source data)- All laser strike points, ground points (all laser strike points except trees, buildings etc) and non ground points (laser strikes that fell on trees, buildings etc). My vague idea for FSXX was to have access to two datasets, and be able to flag city areas where highres photo imagery exists. You wouldn't want your airport buildings defined by mesh, and you certainly wouldn't want bumps where no photo exists, so this would just be an extra feature similar to today's local photoreal...

There is a patch out for the NZ scenery that may help a bit,but I agree that it is better than having those desert textures

QUOTE How difficult would it be to isolate and display only the photoreal around the airfield itself, from the rest of the scenery ?? Thats a clever idea- hope you can somehow manage to do that.

Take a look here for some quite comprehensive installation instructions. Being a wiki, it's a bit technical, but see how you get on.

QUOTE (bennz @ Apr 21 2008, 10:14 AM) Hi again , I am not sure if this question related to this section or not ? But does any one know how I can add my added planes to fs2004 as the airports traffic? Cheers Take my advice and forget about Ultimate Traffic etc, If you have the skills (and it's not difficult) use World of AI. It comes complete with an installer package and is as close as you will ever get to creating an almost 'real world' experience
