QUOTE (Pato @ May 9 2009, 02:11 PM) Great! Thanks Laurie and sorry for worrying you with what I thought were some errors that I had made with the scenery installation. Cheers. No worries Patrick,....... Lawrie. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif />

so yea... that didnt work (couple o' months late but i still really want this to work) heres the screenie i googled it and i found this explaination "INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2623: Couldn't open file: (a filename) A file referenced by the reward, most probably an image, couldn't be found." but this doesnt make sense. i placed the object with fsx so... the object definatly exists. EDIT: nevermind GOSH DARN MICROSOFT VISTA and its stupid user account control!!!!! i turned it off and it works. NOTE TO ALL: TURN OFF UAC! IT IS USLESS AND DOES MORE...

QUOTE (ilovetofly @ Apr 22 2009, 09:46 AM) Lawrie; I've always had an issue when adding your sceneries to the FS Addon scenery folder in that when moving the main folder like "Dunedin_NZDN" the scenery and texture files refuse to go along. I've solved this by doing the above as you indicate and then I copy from the original download the two files and paste them into the main folder that now resides in FS9 and then activate it. I download all my sceneries to a different drive and then unzip them there before transfering the actual scenery to FS9. This does not happen...

Thanks Timmo, very pleased to meet you; I already found the helipad on the peak: in these days I'm more in New Zealand than here at my work; so I have almost finish the post about airport (I think it will be online Thursday) and the video (It will be on line Friday or saturday; I will post it on Forum FS VIdeo) , meanwhile I'm already working on post about Whale Island ( I fly, I take screenshot, I google about it). G-day Elio

QUOTE (Dan @ Apr 5 2009, 07:50 AM) I'm also using the John Haines Christchurch scenery from NZScenery.com. I haven't had any problem with an ILS offset (Nalbers, I wonder if you have another NZCH AFCAD file buried in your sceneries that might cause a conflict). With this scenery however, all references to all approaches (ILS, VOR, Yaldhurst transition etc) have been wiped. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it possible to use BGLAnalyse to bring them back? As it happens, I eventually did find another CHCH afcad tucked away in a scenery folder... No more offset problems...

QUOTE (Daniel @ Mar 26 2009, 05:05 PM) How much longer Lawrie /drool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= drool.gif /> Are you using many photoreal buildings? More screenies please /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> That pic is the first i took, i had only just barely started the scenery at that stage. All that i had placed in the scenery at that time was the road entry gate sign you see in the foreground, and the Mainland Air hanger in the background, and a few trees. Its advanced considerably since then. No...
