I found trees were little thin , this will be addressed - my understand , this is the base pack ..., I looked and studied the type off growth , plantations that are so evident as you approach Christchurch from here i studied other less know scenery features course from airline flights through in out the country , this Land Class is only now born and from here it really is going to grow . Its is ok to use goggle and the likes for personal scenery projects on your pc ,but redistributing them as scenery is a no go ,its been covered here before about the use etc .i know most of the ozx runways are google but how they get away with it i dont know , i have areas that ive covered in imagery that was placed by only using sbuilder it is very possible to do what youve said above ..

Read the first post of this thread over at Orbx. 1135 airports or airstrips in the South Island will be enhanced by Orbx just as they did for the PNW Obviously VLC won't be compatible with Orbx NZ as they essentially offer the same thing and BTW VLC is out.

QUOTE (mavman @ Sep 1 2010, 10:30 PM) Hi Lawrie, sorry to hijack this post but wondering where you're at with NZTI? Did some RL flying there yesterday so would be nice to practise in the Virtual one as well!! Funny you should mention NZTI Jase,................ ive just finished looking at it in FSX, and thinking about building it for X. I havnt got much further with the FS9 version, having been well and truly distrcted by scenery building in FSX, but i'll get there. Got a lot of NZ ones under construction for FSX, and even done a few FS9 to FSX conversions for myself...

One other item I have not announced anywhere, but will give you a heads up... we will be offering a very nice discount for GEX users who own NA and/or EU for the AF/ME release. NA = 15% off NA and EU = 20% off and we may even offer a discount for new GEX NA/EU purchases. Simply our way of saying thank you and our way of extending holiday wishes in a hard economy. Its not all about business with us, its about the community. no, thats not a shameless plug.. I have not announced that in the GEX forums or anywhere else so hold off for a month or so if you were thinking about picking up a GEX...

QUOTE (Timmo @ Aug 4 2010, 06:50 PM) Sorry, didn't make myself as clear as I should have- Back then I was just musing that that would be the logical next step for flight simulation. Outerra didn't exist back then as far as I know. Ok, thanks for that. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Saves me having to read all 5 pages then thinking my eyes are going funny... /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Jul 27 2010, 01:38 AM) Adrian , I think you will be more that impressed to see VLC snow textures B-) That's true, but just to clarify that VLC doesn't change these textures. What is does is break up the normal endless textures with a lot more detail, so you won't see anywhere near as many monotonous repeated patterns.

QUOTE (creator2003 @ Jul 16 2010, 08:16 PM) Nova objects never worked that i know with ez scenery object placement tool,as for the other objects there should be a scenery folder and texture folder if the files are in these and activated then the objects will show up in ezscenery ,its hit and miss with the wheel scroll selecting them but you soon work out where they are on the list .. Yes, get use to this.. Cheers Mate.

The only way i got it working was to make it gmax ,this was the full runway ,i managed in fs9 nearly a 45 deg sloping harden ,after that it doesn't work and you would fall through it ,plus what a angle to land on anyway , after my findings in fS9 i moved on to trying them in FSX like this tread i made here with a fun tester ..
