Ah, OK I was puzzled as to how Isra found time to do the planes and all that scenery, too! QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Aug 15 2012,10:25 AM) ... or was that just simple a Mirage. No mirage, I will post a video clip yet, of that wonderful cavern full of toys.

QUOTE (Snowman @ Aug 3 2012,5:02 PM) For anyone looking for the SOL, which is no longer available, you will find a list of the objects needed for my FSX sceneries at the following link...... Lawrie. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif /> Thank you Creator, Deeknow, Ian, and Snowman, for your information. TVA uses the VAFinancials program to build our routes, and it's a delight to fly in and out of airstrips with that personal touch provided by you scenery guys.

QUOTE (toprob @ Jul 27 2012,8:59 PM) I know we've talked about this before here, I just can't find the thread -- from memory, some members were a bit confused by the use of real photos on their website:) I've bought a previous FS Global mesh, but I returned it and complained that they don't really give any details of mesh resolution, and NZ turned out to be a 76m SRTM mesh, which was no different from the default FSX mesh. This new version says between 5 and 76 metres, so I wouldn't be surprised if NZ was still 76 metres, but there's no way of knowing from...

QUOTE (Snowman @ Jul 8 2012,10:18 PM) I would say YES, to disable NZSI. All my scenery work is made exclusively to fit VLC only. ( although some of it fits ok into FSX default) I actually have no idea what any of it would look like in NZSI,......... i never tested any of it with NZSI. OK - great - thanks! I'll let you know if there are any issues /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

Today I went looking for Tim's thread on adding these strips to the GPS in VLC, and found it here . There's also this interesting thread from gojozoom who was testing this for Tim, I think. I missed this at the time, but it is certainly looking great.

QUOTE (scaber @ May 29 2012,5:11 PM) There is also a Photoshop plugin which allows you to open the dds files directly into Photoshop. It's an NVIDIA utility but is supposed to work with any graphics card, just make sure you pick the appropriate version for either 64bit or 32bit. NVIDIA texture tools for Photoshop Just tested it on CS6 and it still works there so should be good for you too. I have already tried this and get an error mesage.

QUOTE (creator2003 @ May 28 2012,7:32 PM) For those who are challenged by the Gmax/FSDS Instant Object Studio runs as a Flight Simulator module and lets you design new scenery objects directly in the Flight Simulator 3D view. Im so 'one' who are challenged /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> .. great little tool /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />
