BIG, BRASH, and BEAUTIFUL No this was not my first meeting with a dinkum Sheila in a London pub... Ever since VOZ tried to eat my sim, I have totally stayed away from flightsim products of the West Isle. Dwelling as I do in FS9.5 land makes this a lot easier mercifully. Sometimes they just take your breath away with the BBB approach, I have experienced this firsthand. But they absolutely get the last "B" right and so get away with the rest. "Live and let live"?? The only living ORBX/FTX/fill in the blank here X is interested in, is their own. This probably ends up being...

Thank You for the informations. It give me a more fair view on the point, how to see the products of ORBX. It seemed, I must a little bit rethinking. At the moment I experiment with a new scenery from Kamchatka... not only ORBX has fine things for us Flusi-Pilots....

I got mine off the council too actually, they gave me the raw .TIFF which was amazingggg. But I Think I might reconstruct the airport Background in 3Ds Max from different High res textures and blend them together. Which will create nicer more detailed ground/apron texture. And look great close up. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Looks as if Snowman's NZKK is no longer available at the usual suspects. I have it archived and can send it to you ... if you are interested.

QUOTE (Charl @ Oct 31 2012,6:56 AM) I see this one has popped up at Sim market , and since it's in one of our western provinces, thought I'd ask if anyone has tried it, or seen a review? See YSSY is one of the few stock airports that I quite like, so wouldn't want to install just "Good" payware, I am looking for "Exceptional"! I believe this is just the rubbish CLS scenery repackaged. googe some screenshots from both & it looks so similar, VOZ with the YSSY the one id recommend

Install the SDK first, it has some tools which you can't really do without. The best source of info is FSDeveloper.com , spend a month browsing the forums and you'll get a good idea of what is needed. Since this question is asked there at least twice a week, there are some very helpful 'getting started' discussions.

Thanks for your reply Robin, I already have NZSI paid for but not installed yet, the ironic thing I've completely rebuilt my computer from the mobo up in the last 6 months for FSX and installed 276 payware add ons, about 200 of those scenery for the rest of the world, but I haven't done anything with NZ for the reasons you mention above. I can't even recall if I've reinstalled VLC, and I haven't put any of your products on, yet I have every single one of them. My plan of starting testing on the other side of world is starting to make more sense to me and watch how others...
