I tend to keep away from GA AI addons Ah OK I've just learned that Ai is not "Ground Aircraft". Turning that down a notch improved the situation somewhat. And: fiddling with the drone, I see there is Depth of Field available. I'm a sucker for a good camera, you may tire of me shortly.

big hello to everyone, it's been a long while. Indeed! Hello Alister, things change, some things don't: ships that shimmer... I keep edging toward the new sim, then I hear another round of fixes to fixes, and wait some more. Can't wait forever, that's simming. Hi Charl! The new sim is fine, and only gets better really, might as well jump in and have some fun. But really, the new sim will be around another 10+ years, so plenty of time to wait it out until you're ready.

Dont know the aerodrome myself but is this one not accurate/current enough?

Purchased and downloaded today and made a first discovery tour, only now the main airport NZMC, see my shots in the screenshots-forum. Further exploration of the area and the NZGT airfield will follow later. Love it, really nice screenshots.

As someone who has spent hundreds of hours assembling homebrew Auckland sceneries from various pre-existing models over the years, I probably know more about the city's layout than is healthy. :lol: I'm really impressed by what Orbx have done here. I took the drone camera around last night, fully expecting them not to do one building or another, yet all I checked were present and correct. It's the first time we've had the Aotea Centre, IMAX and Civic in a commercial scenery as far as I can remember. The only real omissions are some historical street level buildings which tend not to be in...

I'm a huge fan of NZA's work so I'm going to wait for theirs. There's no way they will release a product that isn't as good as Inibuild's, - nobody at all would buy it.

No idea. I've seen people reach out in the forums and get a contact out of it. Maybe you need to create a new thread to specifically ask what you'd like to do. Or submit a support request to generate a contact that way.

I don't think I ever saw a seaplane in that little inlet though - is it even big enough to operate out of safely? Great rendition otherwise though ... I really may have to get MSFS at this rate...
