It's certainly possible- A better option might be to create a more NZ looking hut model and place it on stilts but with the reference point still at the base of the hut- This will mean on flat terrain it will simply sit normally, but in cases like this, the downhill portion will rest on the stilts.

Thanks Ian, I'd really like to stick with FS 2004 for now. I'd appreciate it if you could arrange for a copy of the aforementioned software, from you or another source. Happy to pay for it. Just let me know how to contact. I live in NZ. And thanks for the other links provided above. Cheers Rick

QUOTE (stueyf @ Apr 16 2013,8:03 PM) I have recently purchased Nelson as well and have a couple of issues with it: There is a kink in the runway partway down - the centreline moves to one side by probably a metre or two, and some of the taxiways and asphalt areas act as dirt although they appear asphalt. I am running VCL on a new computer. Does anyone have any ideas about fixing this? Not too sure about the moving centreline -- could be a flatten problem. A screenshot might give me a better idea of the problem. The dirt taxiways may just be a bit of a design decision -- normally a...

Will have a play around with it Ian, added some AI Cessna's for the Milford Sound flights and they disappear inbound to NZQN about 3 or 4 miles out in the mountains. May have to try and make then IFR flightplans and see if it still happens.

QUOTE (Timmo @ Mar 26 2013,10:24 PM) The rigs (and shipping) is also available in the free VLC AI boats package from vectorlandclass.co.nz /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Timmo , Im just in the process of loading FSX onto a separate drive so i can have it 100% VLC ..... and keep the other stuff (Orbx/FSX) on another drive. I always get problems when i mix them up.

QUOTE (toprob @ Mar 17 2013,3:03 AM) For non-airport scenery, I'd recommend SBuilderX. Bit of an overkill just for an exclude, but well-worth having in your toolkit. Thanks Rob, that did the trick. Glad to have it actually, looks like an excellent tool. Cheers, Ade

QUOTE (LawnDartLeo @ Jan 23 2013,8:34 PM) The issue is dual monitors. /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Any ideas? I want my second screen!!! Sure I can just turn it on and off.... but really, that is a pain. Worse yet, when I switch views via EZDock, the shader reloads EVERY TIME. I get a bright flash then all is well. The more I mess with this, the more I wonder if it really is not worth the hassle. Multiple screens is not really something I have used so never had that issue. My patience with FSX/Prepar3d has almost expired and I...

QUOTE (toprob @ Jan 25 2013,10:20 PM) It is a worthwhile exercise if you have particular problems with individual airfields. I do hope though that this tool explains how much care you need to take, and that not all duplicates should be removed. There's a recent discussion on FSDeveloper which explains some of the pitfalls -- Airport Scanners - Good, Bad or Downright Dangerous? Agreed. In all these types of packages First Rule Read the instructions Clyde Williams LEVIN

Kinda thought so as I couldn't find anything about scenery objects with Seasonal changes. Does the VLC have a list of trees? Does it require a separate download to work with my scenery or can I include the files with mine? QUOTE (toprob @ Jan 15 2013,2:35 AM) Unfortunately you can't add seasonal textures to normal models in FSX, just autogen vegetation has seasons. Some people use pre-FSX techniques to add seasonal textures to airports, but they don't work with trees, as pre-FSX alpha channels don't work in FSX. Have you taken a look at the Vector Land Class...
