/wink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :wink2: border= 0 alt= wink.gif /> The texture trick was the first thing I tried, way back then. I knew I once had the textured building - just couldn't see why not, until now. Just need to sort out those levels now. /cheers1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= cheers1.gif />

I use Stephen Rothlisberger's 70m LOD 9 SRTM mesh (available on Simviation) and Charles Reid's Fiji landclass (on Flightsim.com). Both intended for FS2004, but work very well with FSX and FTX Global. The Rothlisberger mesh has some issues around tile edges in places (not sure whether this affects the Fiji tile) but has been fully processed for spikes and voids in the data. I found the ASTER mesh better for resolution but it has been oversampled so excessive spiking is present. Ade

After reading about this VOZ thingy for FS9, thought I'd try it but the switcher doesn't work in Win 7. Which are the best bits to manually replace? Can I just replace the textures with those in the North folder or what?

QUOTE (ZK-LGD @ Jan 18 2013,4:18 AM) Just a word to the wise, but the recent Orbx NZSI Service Pack 2 plays merry havoc with Mike's NZMO_NZMC_NZCI_NZMF freeware scenery pack (Orbx version). It is fixable (with the exception of NZMF) but I had to: - completely uninstall all Orbx scenery, - re-install NZSI, then Service Pack 1 and the first and second Orbx Library, - re-install Mike's scenery and activate it, - copy and save the various original Orbx ADE/CVX/Objects.bgls (NZMO, NZMC, NZCI and NZMF) as well as the various Elevation adjustments found in Scenery/World/Scenery...

QUOTE (Charl @ Jul 20 2013,2:36 PM) Hindsight... my sympathies but now you know how you do it, it goes twice as fast, and you also get to do that other thing you didn't want to do because it all worked so well... Do you not have Omaka in Classic FS\RealNZmarlborough\Scenery ? Now you mention it, no... Here we go again.

One thing i also look at is getting away from very outta date looking library file that make places look like Noddyville .. so end lotta Tim's 'Timmo' really go hand to hand .. or FS-Creations is a real gap filler ..

With FSX reinstall , leave anything FS9 related out , good luck - generally it will fix all the weird issues , just remember if you are doing any extra work make sure you put it aside - but a clean install is always a remedy , course you now no what not to put in .

QUOTE (Snowman @ Jul 1 2013,1:55 PM) Been a long time since ive seen Nelson in FS9, i cant even go have a look at it due to the recent loss of my computer. The scenery, and any elevation levels in it, were done to fit the payware 20m mesh, although i would have thought it should work ok in the freeware 75m mesh, as most of my other sceneries worked fine in the 75m mesh. Dont move the AFCAD, but try making a COPY of it into FS9 / Scenery / World / Scenery folder, and see if that fixes the problem your having. Also, might pay to have a check and make sure there are no AF2_NZNS.bgl...

As many of you know, i recently suffered the loss of my computer. The PSU failed, and the HDD was fried. The new Napier scenery i was working on at the time, included the runway extension, and the new business park, and reflected many other changes like the removal of the Napier aero club building, and placement of other new buildings and roads. The scenery featured total removal of all objects from the old Static Objects Library, and included more custom objects, and some objects from the free VLC NZ Object Libraries. The new scenery also featured night-lighting for the buildings that the...

QUOTE (scaber @ Jun 26 2013,9:12 AM) Just a thought, have you installed the Orbx library updates since installing NZNI?. The lastest version is 130504, released 4th May. - near the bottom of the page Hi scaber , Thank you for that! No I hadn't - after seeing the screenshot last night from FlyingKiwi , (I've done one too, just for comparison), I went looking on the ORBX site for a specific Nth Island patch but couldn't see one /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> - the one you suggest might be the trick! When I look at my...

Thanks Lawrie! I wouldn't usually do another airport that someone else has done but since it was already half done and it is my home airport I thought I would release it. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> QUOTE (Snowman @ Jun 8 2013,9:16 PM) Definately no problem here,............. Im going to be the first to ditch my ancient old outdated NZNP scenery, and replace it with this beauty. My FSX New Plymouth was only a quick and dirty conversion of my old FS9 scenery anyway, only intended as a "gap-filler" until something...
