Parking a Beerbie on the table may not be the problem .. all these fibre optics blokes maybe .. out mowing the lawn and chased down by a van ... they saw the wrath of my powerful lawnmower and stepped back .. had it been a B-52 ;) I would have had them running :D

Great photos, James, that'll do the job nicely. And there's a great shot of the tarmac side of that old rust-roof hangar, which has always annoyed me in my earlier Rotorua, as the only photo I had was oblique and blurry. Now I can fix it. Interesting to see what's changed since I was last there, and what hasn't. Beautifully detailed shots, I think you must have done this before:)

Hi Mark Looking at the disc titles you've listed, are you sure these are FSX? The FS2004 version of Auckland was called 'Real NZ Auckland', from memory, whereas the FSX version is called 'Auckland: Supercity'. Oops, missed the bit about Roads and Rivers, which isn't my scenery, and from memory it was FS2004 with a patch for FSX -- certainly not required these days. Hi, Yep actually I do have the supercity version too, which I must have got when I moved to FSX a few years ago, could that go over VLC and or be better than Orbix can provide for Auckland? Affirm, with regards to R&R.. out the...

Brilliant, cant wait. Excellent place for lots of fun short-haul flights. And great for GA flying on the bigger islands. This will go nicely with the photoreal from these guys (I just bought the "Plus Version" collection, it rocks !!)

Cheers for all the replys! I am currently loving the real NZ southern lakes scenery, its much nicer than the stock standard!! I also love the detail applied to the wanaka airport, ive spent a decent amount of time around there and can confirm it is very accurate! The Warbirds mission scenery is also fantastic, nothing like a few low inverted fly-bys for fun (one may have been a bit too low however......whoops! Might stick to simming and not take up aerial acrobatics in the near future!)

QUOTE (AdrianPetford @ Dec 28 2014,8:24 PM) It can take a long time to build everything up, but once done there's really nothing like it. Personally, I find myself flying Silver Wings far more than standard FS9, the CalClassic stuff is so good. Too right, Adrian...In my Classic FS , I could do VFR pilotage at FL230 all the way from London to Darwin, with accurate mesh and coastlines along the way, and America was pretty glorious too. I am still rebuilding it all. Having been led astray by all the brilliant FSX VLC and GZ stuff didn't really help /rolleyes.gif style=...

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Dec 7 2014,2:23 PM) It works a charm in VLC and that's why I have ditched ORBX NI and SI. I just don't need the grief every time I try and install an airport. One thing I instantly picked up on was flying over Canterbury in the Big O it really suited the part , simply why did and was it dictated to bunch off people who are designing or building and are the REAL McCoy been there done that pilots like yourself that suddenly the country of New Zealand is raised 15Ft in most places ? .... I was good a Geography at school ... sure the country did not change that...

QUOTE (Adrian Brausch @ Oct 30 2014,9:56 AM) Nice work !,...any chance Hobsonville might be put on the list ? /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Hi Adrian, sure almost forgot about Hobsonville. I will have to hunt around for a better aerial shot of it, I have a lots with the remains today of hangar etc but the others are all close ups and dont give much detail. I have local Council report on its heritage value which describes the exact location, I will work on that one. Got Mechanics Bay to do first. Adrian on another topic I have...

I found Avsim a pain in the ass to use, mainly due and since the the site was hacked those few years back, still could be arranged or could send you a direct link.
