Damn I was in Whitianga today (been there all week, back home now) could have taken some photos of the airfield there for you. :( Hey, no worries, I don't think I'd do any area like the Coromandel without a good look around. One of the few perks of having such a rubbish job, I do get to see some nice parts of the country... I was hoping to get there before winter sets in, hence the rush, but one of the advantages of putting it off is lower fares etc -- I could do it in 3 days, on a grabaseat, if I had to. Seems a long time since I've financed a project by selling scenery, just about...

Is that the same as the boxed version I have which was purchased 20/10/2006.? Not entirely sure what you have, but since you said the one you had was for FS9, then I assume not. The Avsim download appears to be the same as my boxed version. Looking good.

Cheers, Deane, sounds like the sort of thing which is required for a NZ scenery shakeup. (Sorry, too soon?) Although I was specifically talking about autogen, object libraries in general are always going to be useful, and these can include anything which anyone thinks could be reused in any context. Autogen, on the other hand, is always going to be a subset of the libraries, this is the sort of thing which is useful over photoscenery, or in any custom landclass project. Since it is unlikely that we'll see a custom landclass project any time soon, unless someone just runs with it right now,...

Pat , If you are not sure I would create a folder and expand the file into that if it cannot a find the directory then simply go from there, then continue on. Thanks Ian, for the suggestion. That makes sense. I may just stiick to VLC addons and that will solve my conerns.

That is the way it has always been , biggest thing , you don't lose historical files that people ask for, some reason AVSIM dose have a habit of loosing everything (get hacked) , basically download managers ... are they still used ? .. would be required , If I really wanted a file I hook into it and find the solution to D/load it , strangely I never had an issue with large files , come freeware or payware , I think it comes down making sure your prepared to spend a little time and wait for it .

Although out of 3.5 billion internet-users world-wide, I only have to get the attention of 2 or 3, and we'd be on a role! Hmm , same can be said for my artwork, of the near 7000 lookers .... had they brought one, I'd be 'Happy as Larry' .. and who the hell is this guy 'Larry' I think he's getting all the booty .. and were both missing out!
