Hmmm... Appears to be a sporadic problem. Try the fixes as listed above. If that doesn't work, try the Auckland 2005 AFCAD for NZAA that comes with it, and see if that works. If it does, then you'll know the AFCAD in your Real Auckland is corrupted and you may need to redownload. Rob D.

I know reinstalling FS is a hassle,I had to do it again recently after buying Red Baron 20m&Topo and it just would not install. By the time you've mucked around trying to find out why it is faster to just save some planes and sceneries and maybe your FS9CFG and reinstall. Then you know where you are and that nothing is interfearing with your new addon. It is just the way it is especially with freeware stuff as everything has to work with each other. Every addon we add has the potential to stuff up the whole sim. There is no way around this. You just have to add them one by one and test...

there is a depriciated way to do this. You have to assign dates with different models. This is fairly complex, but you can probably find a tutorial at . The bad news is that this way of doing scenery isn't supported anymore. I think it still works in FS2004 (kept for backwards compatibility), but you need some indepth scenery coding (BGLC) knowledge. Christian The SceneryDesign.org site has a handy tool called mdl_tweaker, which allows you to set a time or date-range to a scenery. I used this for Wanaka, to display the airshow at Easter, but it has a lot of other useful features.

Been looking forward to this one. I have the Auckland scenery but I find there's bit too much brown in the overall colour. This one looks a lot greener.

If this is the sceney from NZscenery I believe that there was no AFCAD file so people couldnt tamper with it. Hmm I know I read it somewhere

My copy of Real Wanaka arrived today - amazing work as usual Robin, and with a minimal hit on performance. This area offers a lot of good airport sceneries to fly between now, so I suggest everyone to get a copy of this latest work and pull your favourite GA plane for some low and slow through the hills. ;) Thanks for your continuing work and bring on Wellington! If you screw up your eyes, and imagine ... I want to start a counter-movement, which will cause all sceneries created with EZ, RWY12, or, especially, LAGO FSE, to spontaneously combust. These represent a giant step backward in the FS world. If desperate one could drop an AFCAD2 on Drury, though. Have a go, it's really easy.

oh kool ill get that ... i had a afcad file for NZCh once before but i got rid of it cos it made it seem like there was a runway on every radial!! real bad whan listening to the atis iv got that christchurch pakage from and if i put all my sliders down except for the mipping on 4 and mesh complxity on 50 and high ground textures it seems to be alright . it just seems to have an impact on fps when i put up the 3d objets sliders (its great scenery thow the rivers look amazin) :D
