And no Craig you can't try and land your Galaxy, 747-400 or Airbus on them. I think these would even be a bit short for you. i wouldnt even try.

Trolly, if you have a half way decent computer, Robs airports should not eat up your FPS. My youngest son has an old cast-off machine of mine from years ago in the Windows 2000 era. Its an old P-3 866mhz, 256mb DDR266 Ram, 64mb Gforce MX440 Video, and he gets around 15 to 17fps at Ardmore with AI traffic around, although it does drop to around only 10 to 12 fps at NZAA wih AI traffic around. Its an old dunger, but it works for him. And ive tweaked the hell out of his FS9 install to get it looking and going as best can be on an old slow machine. Lawrie.

To get back to Trolly's original observation about the clear area close to the ground, this has annoyed me for some time. From my observations the effect occurs with all weather situations if you restrict visibility at all in the advanced options. It is almost as though the restricted visibility will not reach the ground despite trying to define it from 0 feet AGL. To me it always starts at about 100 feet AGL. No idea why and I have been totally unable to solve it! Baffled Mike

Yes the plan is for GNZLAP to include all NZ aircraft up to 5 tonne MTOW. VOZ would do the NZ heavy metal. Actually the VOZ AI guru lurks on these forums, maybe he'd venture a re-release date...

Good on you Mike for givin' it a go.You have two great guys to help you and don't be too worried about any mistakes.I know us flight simmers can be a little eagle eyed but some of us are blind as well.As long as you get construtive comments then all is well.

So I take it your not a New Zealander? no. i`m a aussie Nothing wrong with that! What I originally posted was to point out what else was at Taupo rather than what you had already indicated! A bit of local knowledge goes a long way hence why Natas (Mike) is able to pump out the great projects for Hamilton and Ruapehu area. I have emailed you in regards this, probaly your spam filter with hotmail is working overtime? i flown into taupo a few times and my gf lived in mangakino near taupo, so she had some more info for me. the spam filters are working in over time.

I dont know where this guy gets his information from but he is more inaccurate than you think! That Tauranga file will mess up Robin Corns Scenery so dont use it if you have Real NZ Tauranga. The Taupo Float plane base he did also creates a crater in Lake Taupo and does not fit in with the NZ Mesh, he is also way out in its location. I see he corrected his Taupo Airport but he is still missing the control tower. Would be good if he answered his emails as well. I get my info from and google earth. I`m also working on a fix for the Float Plane Base. If u did email me, i didnt get it....
