I've used Mike Stone's P-3 model for AI traffic and it doesn't like flying VFR. An aircraft that size probably wouldn't fly VFR anyway but the RNZAF does do normal touch and goes at NZWP with its large aircraft. Set it to IFR and it seems to fly okay. Unfortunately the static aircraft can't be removed. I think there is a post in a similar vein about NZAR where a simmer tried putting in exclude files and got white static aircraft where he was hoping for a fresh parking space. NZWP is the same. Of course, if anyone can proove me wrong on this I'll be keen to know how....

Yes, the building at Musick Point was indeed a memorial to Captain Edwin Musick and his crew, who were lost when their flyboat exploded in midair near Samoa. The Sikorski FB had fuel problems and was thought fuel vapour caused the explosion, there were no survivors. The building was shared between the CAA coms (ZKLF) and the NZPO coast radio station (ZLD). ZLD/Auckland radio monitored 500 k/cs morse, and 2182/4125 k/cs r/t. I've only ever visited Auckland once, during the mid 70's and my only view of ZLD was from a tourist launch during a harbour cruise. The weather was crappy and we...

Haha I did the same, in this very thread, must be the nature of the debate! It's much easier 2nd time round, and you waffle far less! Occurs to me that the entire GNZLAP project is in the same league as photoreal scenery: it only really has context if you are familiar with it. I imagine an Eskimo wouldn't really be all that interested in the reggo's of NZ GA - so too seeing the actual position of Eden Park ...mmm let me rephrase that

I found the best Invercargill scenery was the one done by Ian Warren And Murray Hall Yep, thats the one I am talking about. It includes photoreal coverage of the surrounding area, including Bluff, and has a few custom 3D buildings!

Shorthand for Vista Australis... Its a graphics/scenary package, mainly for AU, but with some NZ stuff.. Read about VOZ here They also have VOZ AI, which is an AI package for AU/NZ... Airlines-type stuff... so compliments the GNZLAP nicely, so you have GA and all the Airline stuff too

Howdy, If it's at the entrance area of the Arthur River, then it's supposed to be SandFly Point Hut. Interesting you bring this up just now. Currently, I'm working on a Southland DOC Huts scenery project. Nothing too flash, especially considering some of the structures ...

 with abit more searching and waking up properly  the answer and where it is " ExcBuilder v2.0" and you will find it @ also heres what the tool is used for :: ExcBuilder - is a small program that helps you to create different types of exclude files. With this tool you can delete default taxiway signs, generic buildings, windsocks and many other objects through user-friendly interface without knowing anything about programming. Since it uses the new XML-based language it's compatible with FS2004 ONLY! mike
