Cheers Rob, I thought it was going to be much more complicated. I've already placed them on a flatten as it's an old Forest Service airstrip in the Central Nth island.

did you make the afcad ??if so you could remove it by remove fuel on the afcad ,,or go to scenerydesign.org and look up excbuilderv2 and use that to excule the object, always face 000 degrees 360 the same thing slew over the object then open excbuilder and press the buttons and bang restart should be gone. looks good dude also excbuilder can only get rid of default scenery object not ones put in by bgl file from avsim etc ....

Any chance of some pre-release screenies? Here's the link: the scenery has slightly advanced from that, I just have to sort out a few texture problems and then I'm done. Future projects: Saba Northland Farm Airfields NZAA commuter concourse (allready done, just needs to be uploaded) I think that there are a few others that i've forgotten about.

I use this one. Simply get the 2 opposing runway ends in lat/long and calculate the angle. This will give you real orientation. Christian

I remember being somewhat devastated during the FSX beta to discover that we would be stuck with SRTM mesh. There was a lot of discussion though about MS's access to worldwide data, so I kind of understand their position. MS use whatever data they can get hold of, but this may result is an imbalance for many parts of the world. For instance, we have a great set of roads here in NZ, but poor quality mesh. Our coastlines are lovely, but the landclass is rubbish. Luckily we have access to a better mesh and landclass. Timmo is right, the sim is data-dependent, and the reality is that NZ...
