I figured that the guys in NZAA tower needed an easier way to commute to work... /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> So it looks like you can create landable platforms in Gmax for FSX as well... its a bugger placing the objects in the scenery tho! /angry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= angry.gif /> ps. for those waiting for my RealNZ AKL City Helipads, unfortunately, I seem to have hit a small snag. For some reason, with an identical mesh/scenery setup, other people are getting the pads at a different height. So,...

QUOTE(G-HEVN @ Aug 4 2007, 10:20 PM) Fifteen quid. Given there are two freeware products in development (both with public betas), I'm not rushing out to buy. Also, notice that it looks IDENTICAL to AFCAD, so I wonder whether Lee Swordy didn't sell them the source code... QUOTE(flight1 website) No learning curve needed for users familiar with AFCAD. /dry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= <_< border= 0 alt= dry.gif />

Thanks for that, I am wanting to modify a coastline to have a land area further out into the existing water area and remove a river. The height elevation wont mater. This is for a fictitious project I am working on.

G'day Rob, yep, I have VOZ loaded, and IF I run it while flying in NZ I load SE ( victoria ) . Its not an exact replication of NZ , but its closer than default FS9. There are other packages about ( RBE etc ) that prolly do a better job tho ? I wouldn't fly OZ at all without VOZ. It roks. Cheers, Toz :plane:

Looking good, Alex. I remember having breakfast at McDonalds opposite Te Papa, waiting for it to open. I think it might be part of the service station, so I've put one of each here... Thanks Robin, yea, I was down that way a few days ago, so have been doing a bit of flying round there. :) Alex

Thank you everyone for your replies ^^ It looks like Mesh + Topo is the way to go, and I think I'll grab Malborough on top of it. Seeing as it'll enhance the whole of New Zealand, a lot of which I haven't explored. It will also be useful for when I begin creating airports...(fingers crossed).

Hmmm have a look on the most popular lists, like the top 100, it should be on there, fswater 2.0 I'm sure it is. Can't access flightsim.com from school (its counted as "Entertainment/Recreation/Hobbies, Games.") hahaha  Funiest iv seen is during geogrphy researching a site was blocked and the filter said "education and referance" James Thanks Jimmy. I may not need it now as I have increased my "water effects" slider and it looks a lot better in VOZ. I don't use VOZ much anyway but was just curious about the poor...

Besides... people on dialup can always subscribe to sneakerNET or postalNET... ie. a friend with broadband and a cd burner :) You can get a CD through the post for like 90c and a blank CD these days is what... about 10c?
