QUOTE(Kelburn @ Sep 4 2007, 05:19 AM) So I take you live in the U.S. Sorry, a mistake on the title I meant to put Hilton Head not just Hilton. Have you been to KHXD? I have only driven to the island(touristy place).they use to hold the family circle tennis cup there.bit further down the way is savannah ,coming back from the beach(jeckle beach another small airfield there also, there is an airforce base had stealth bombers practising sorties up the interstate, scary as you ony notice them when they turn will have to fire up the sim and check it out ;)fsx sure improves scenry over here...

Howdy Kelburn, If you're creating/compling scenery with FSSC, you already have a copy of SCASM (this is the original .bgl complier used by MS from FS5-FS2000). If you require a more up-to-date version, go here .

You need to install the MSXML4 package, so that various things can parse/read XML files etc. You can get it from microsoft: MSXML 4 SP2 You may possibly want to get the latest (v6) as well... note that as far as I can tell, there is no version5??!??! Anyway, I am not sure if this is entirely necessary, but it cannot hurt to have the latest: MSXML v6 ps. it looks like you are not actually using the FS2004 gamepack properly... after you install the gamepack into the c:\gmax directory, you need to make sure that you start Gmax using the FS2004 shortcut that you can find in the...

Thanks for all that, this was heaps of help /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> , I see a new version of Fsx Planner is out that finds the original airport file in fsx. When I get this to work properly(recompile) it should do everything I need.

QUOTE(Kelburn @ Aug 26 2007, 04:08 AM) what airport are you doing? It's Presedente Nicolau Lobato airport at Dili, Timor Leste (WPDL). I should have added non-NZ. Other developers have released an AFCAD file for it (I think on flightsim.com) and there is SRTM mesh scenery available which makes a big difference.

Seems if you delete NZAA.bgl from the Auckland 2005 scenery and then put Auckland International 1.5 at a higher priority it works quite well. Might be an idea for people who are interested in better framerates than perfect realism.

QUOTE(kimz28 @ Aug 23 2007, 05:08 AM) Guy's I'm pretty sure this afcad is the offender "AF2_NZ23.bgl" if you have this file rename it and load up the sim and the asb building should be back to normal, this was part of the Squirrels AI pack. Absolutely spot on Kimz, ASB back to normal, thanks for that.

QUOTE(Snowman @ Aug 16 2007, 11:28 AM) QUOTE(Naki @ Aug 11 2007, 10:04 PM) or you could down load "auckland_real_nz_airports.zi"p from Avsim that is a modification of Auckland 205 to fit Robin's scenery. Yes, Naki is correct. Download ....... auckland_real_nz_airports.zip from Avsim. Rob Diebold extracted the airports only for Auckland 2005 to fit into the RealNZ Auckland City scenery. There are no double ups of scenery items, and it would certainly save you all the time and trouble of going through the Auckland 2005 scenery and trying to identify which bgl...

QUOTE(creator2003 @ Aug 16 2007, 12:39 PM) try put excludes in different folder ie its own folder or just in somewhere away from the main bgl that you are compling... I have done that but still no change, I think I have found the problem it has something to do with the AFCAD file itself, a newer one I have created is now showing the runway.

Count me in as well. The Queenstown and Mount Cook were superb. Why, when grandma saw Queenstown she did a flip. Wasn't her fault,I was too busy looking out at the beautiful rendition of the airport. /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />
