However i must have got lost with all the follders and sub folders he had. What i had forgotten to add was the scenery files to the Scenery folder in Static Objects one. im all ok now. Les

QUOTE THEIR IS A BUG IN THE AUCKLAND 2005 SCENERY FILES WHICH CAUSES THE AIRCRAFT WHEELS TO SINK WHEN TAXIING NEAR THE AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL .. THE CURE FOR THIS IS TO DELETE FROM THE SCENERY DIRECTORY , THE FILE CALLED NZAA-FS2002-SMOOTH.BGL. THIS WAS AN OLD FIX FILE FOR FS2002 BUT IS DEFINITELY CONFLICTING WITH THE FS2004 HYBRID SCENERY SO PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU DELETE IT .... From the readme :) Just delete the file NZAA-FS2002-SMOOTH.BGL in the scenery folder of NZAA (usually under ..\Addon Scenery\Auckland 2005).

Check out this EZ Landclass it may do what you're after. I haven't used it so can't say whether it's any good or not.

QUOTE (s0cks @ Feb 22 2008, 11:12 AM) Hey Lawrie, Nothing. I Disabled ALL extra scenery except default stuff and NZNP, but still no trees. I had a thought though. I don't know how this scenery stuff works but you said it calls the textures for the trees from the main texture folder. Now does it call it from a specific folder? Perhaps it is because I am using Vista 64bit and FS9 is installed on my D: drive (not C:) Could it be looking in the wrong place? Does it look to registry to find the correct directory? I removed all tree textures from every folder to see what happened. The...

Mike, Many thanks for referral....stacks of addons there!! You may be able to elaborate a bit more on "compile the library first with the abacus library creator"....not up with the "play" on this!! My aim is to have the addons as mainly "static" scenery using TTools....have had no problems with programming FS aircraft for this purpose. Cheers, Bob R

Ok you proberly have texture double ups within your install ,this could happen if you have snowmans scenery's and voz as they use some of the same textures and models ,now if you have both install this is most proberly your problem.. fix ? well check for double up textures within your addon scenery folder checkout the post here on nzff about taupo problems sadly and i hate saying it ,but these are the problems with using objects that others have made and are freely available for hundreds of thousands of others out there building scenerys , this is what i don't like about VOZ ,the...

QUOTE (Kahu Project @ Feb 15 2008, 11:20 PM) I have already used an exclude over the whole area and also flatteners, I will take a look At Sbuilder thou. Can't do it easily in FS9. In FSX you can create a vector exclude via SBuilder. Cheers, Christian

QUOTE (Nunner @ Feb 10 2008, 07:55 AM) Thanks the reply Lawrie, Please understand I am a humble flight planner and part time a/c painter and I like to learn about what other simmers do hence my original question. I assume then that the micromesh is not connected to the taxiways or runways as such ? If I am going to tweak the afcad then as long as I dont connect any taxiways to the mesh then all will be good? Also if any of this area gets deleted it will affect the scenery ? Also I was wondering why the cross rwy had not been activated, is it used in reality or not ? Sorry about all...

Have many other areas to sort out for FSX , all the model files have to be found , and see what can be used , as with other considerations and with many other details to sort .
