I started out in a C152 camera ship, but after getting tired of using slew to keep up with the 172, I swapped to a C206 :P Well it is a C172 and cruises 120kts so no wonder you lagged behind! BTW you can create your own banner if you like - look for "banner.bmp" in the texture folder of ZK-NZF The banner deploys when the AI plane would've retracted its gear - this is why the banner disappears for approaches and TNG

Here's the new format of the typical GNZLAP AFCAD: On the right is the AFCAD plan, main pic is what it looks like on my system. The format will make a GNZLAP strip readily recognizable. This is required partly because there have been queries from users who have no AFCAD experience. It often transpires they are not even using a GNZLAP file. This way there will be no confusion. Notes: All airstrips are bounded by a dirt area, high-viz so it can be found, with a grassed touchdown stripe down the middle. Generally no lines or lights anywhere. A small oil-treated surface points to where a/c...

Here's a quick video of "my" Picton experience. I know it will not be to everyone's taste, but I quite enjoy the Back to Nature experience! Edit : Of course, the RealNZ Marlborough package fixes Picton, once and for all!

Are those statements both correct? Yup it is necessary to replace AFCADS for places like Tauranga and Wellington Yes you can. The RealNZ airport AFCADs are used in GNZLAP with permission and have small tweaks to improve the AI experience, like parking Bay Flight in the right place at NZTG. AFCADs are a pain because they are actually scenery and only work for a particular setup. It's recommended that you keep your existing AFCADs handy if you get strange effects using ours.

Hey Charl, Yeah I have both Great Barrier and Mountain Air in Edit Voice Pack, so I was just trying to see if I could get the callsigns to work in the AI. I think it has to be changed on the flightplan but im not sure... Edit Voice Pack is a must for any simmer!!! It makes the experience so much better with places saying 'Ardmore' instaed of 'November Zulu Alpha Romeo'...etc. Thanks anyway! KAG

I hadn't bothered with installing the project untill I could get the HTAI Cessna's. Now I have them and have the project up and running. Thank You so much Charl and the team for your long hard slog to make this a reality for us all to enjoy! I now consider you guys amongst the FS Gods. Thanks again, I can't wait untill you get to your final zone that includes Dunedin,Qtown,Fiordland,Invers and Stewart Is. There is lots of Helo activity going on in these places. Please keep up your great work.

he Airtrainers are the subject of a (later) mini-release which will involve some aerobatics Wowzers! :o But watch those Airtrainers, they're real frame rate hogs when you get a bunch of them. Maybe they could be configured to only appear at a certain location at a certain date (Wanaka, Eastertime for example). If possible, try to keep them away from any big city centres as that my spoil the low-spec club's fun!
