Ah ok now i feel silly i didnt even think there was one on there so thats the answer right there to my questions ,i will look next time before i start guessing ,i just thought he sp2 sdk would be the same because accer only had sp2 thanks heaps :thumbup:

Seems to be sorted now. After unhiding the cfg file all is as it should be, strange. Have checked all the other float planes & they all have wake now so all is well. Your solution did work somehow. Thank you.

My own impressions of FSX are quite good overall but the lack of a manual for the aircraft means that alot of features are overlooked as people won't know that they are there unless they look on the internet. So far I've done nearly all of the missions for FSX acceleration and deluxe and now I'm at the stage of racing missions so all my settings are configured for high FPS so traffic is turnned right down and so is scenery to get enough FPS to race for red bull etc. Of course I'm running XP 2.4gig pentium with 2gig dual channel so there is a bit of room to increase detail for...

If I setup a flight plan in the 172 then change to the Beaver it will follow it with the GPS but I don't think they were designed to run together.

This program is FANTASTIC... thanks! My sim has never run better! ^_^

I doubt its the Topo- There are known problems with some scenery at Auckland I believe so try disabling any Auckland scenery youve downloaded

Wow! Looks intense. When I get FSX I now have to descide on ASX or REX :/ AS6 has always been a reliable friend for me.

I have not got SP2 installed, and all seems to have gone ok. Cannot see any major increases in fps though, but perhaps the real benefits will come later. Must wait on Microsoft to issue a SP3 to finally get FSX right, although I guess that they are now working on FS11 instead. Smooth landings.

Thanks guys for the detailed replies!! I have already increased the settings on the texture for both trees and buildings, as I found that the computer could handle it. I am aiming at keeping the fps over about 20 on average, which is why I tried to initially set these texture settings lower. So based on your answers then I will set the texture settings to high/very high and also increase the texture settings a bit further in the config. file. Thanks again, smooth landings.

FSX A321 is shocking IMHO, although you can make it much more respnsive, it is probably too responsive, although IMHO if you fly with it for a bit you'll get used to it. Also check out for repaints and some other stuff
